Blackbird on Pearl

Very cool place with a neat ambiance . We went there for a concert last night. I have to say something though about their headliner starting after 11:30. They need to take into consideration that their clientele for this genre (blues/rock) is an older crowd. We do not want to wait around until that late to listen to the band we paid for. Plus, the first act absolutely sucked. By the time Ronnie Pyle started, I was in no mood to enjoy it. Plus, I felt sorry for them, over half the people had already left after their 4th song, including us. Next time, no warm up bands, and especially shitty ones!

We checked out some live music here recently and had a great time! This location has been a couple different dive bars since I moved to Tulsa, and it still looks somewhat the same. I noticed that there was more light and a patio area in front. It's no smoking, which is fantastic! The bartenders were friendly and quick, which is always appreciated! The only negative, and keep in mind it's a dive, was the bathrooms. They could have been cleaner, for sure. Overall, we will definitely be back!
