Breakfast this morning was good. Service was too notch and the decor felt like I was in the smoky mountains or up in Estes park Colorado. My wife had "the Grizz" and took home leftovers for tomorrow. I had the avocado toast which was "fair". It was a risk, as it appears the best items here are huge portions and "chicken fried". We will be back, especially when my cholesterol can tolerate something massive, deep fried and yummy

Good service and good food. Not a bad wait since we missed the Fourth of July morning crowd. Definitely would come back here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Waitress was pleasant and friendly. music was playing at perfect level to hear but not detract from conversation.

Cute Lil breakfast spot! I don't require a lot in a breakfast place. Service was pleasant...kitchen was a bit slow getting the order out. Food and coffee were tasty but I did not really like the hashbrowns. They were cut into thick strips and didn't taste the best to me. French toast,eggs, and bacon were all cooked well. I would make a return visit when in town again. They have a lot on the menu so I would like to try a couple of different things.

A lot of other reviews suggest this is elevated diner food. It's hard for me to agree with that. You get a generous portion of fresh fruit seemingly with everything, but otherwise it's predictable. We were quoted a wait time for a table and then noticed an empty bar counter with four seats. Front of the house didn't know what "first-come-first-served" meant, but after talking to several employees, we sat at the bar, just to be greeted by a waitress who seemed confused that we were sitting at the bar and that she'd now have to clean off the counter.Food took about twice as long as it should have, but this was not outrageous since it was game day. The bear paw thing stuffed with blackberries was basic, no real flakiness or makings of a home-cooked breakfast pastry/french toast alternative. The chorizo breakfast burrito was fine though it was served with very sad potatoes. I left feeling full but there is nothing special about this place.

Folks, Black Bear Diner has some of best lip-smacking delicious food you can wrap your lips around. Your taste buds will be doing backflips for their fit chicken scramble , and their pancakes are so good . They have biggest biscut I've ever seen , it's a meal in itself with their delicious gravy over the top of it.

This place sent burnt pancakes with the dark side turned upside down as if you wouldn't smell or taste it. These were completely inedible. Don't waste your money. I had to give 1 star but would never recommend for ordering or eat in. Ordered on 01-09-25, delivered by DoorDash.
