Birria El Borrego Bronco

We ordered the Birria Tacos w/ Consommé for $13.95. We wish that we had ordered the quesabirria tacos, but the plain was still good. I wanted it to have a little more seasoning, but the meat was still tender and juicy. Each taco only had one corn tortilla which, if you know me, is a negative. Lastly, the consommé was a little disappointing. We felt like it didn't add a lot to the tacos and was only okay on its own. The salsas were great, and I really liked having options.We still did enjoy this meal and would like to go back for the quesabirria. However, there have been a few more taco stops that vastly outranked this spot in our opinions!

Birria is their specialty and that is what you should try!I would call the food a more traditional style of Mexican cooking. Very fresh, but little to no spice. Even lacking the spice, the food tasted good. (Details are with the picture captions.)Our meals had one BIG critical flaw. The food was not hot. It was very freshly prepared, nicely displayed on the plate, and accompanied with great sauces. Unfortunately, the beans and rice were cool. The enchiladas and carne asada were just slightly warmer than room temperature. Extremely disappointing.I hope this was a one-time failure Next visit, it will be the Birria.The service was fast and friendly. Located where the Shish Kabobs was, in the Garnett Plaza.

The food was very good, but just be prepared. If you don't speak Spanish, you will be using Google translate to communicate with your waitress and makes sense of the menu. We enjoyed the meal, but I don't think we'll go back just because of the language barrier .

Food is always delicious, servers are friendly, and they play good music. I've been twice already and I will definitely be coming back. Try the Birria Ramen or even just a plate of Birria with rice and beans.
