If Bill's Sporting Goods was someone's home, it would be on an episode of the real-life documentary "Hoarders." The owner would be required to seek a mental health professional. Fortunately, it is not a home. It is a sporting good store, focusing on hunting and shooting sports essentials. Every freaking inch, every cubby hole, every nook and cranny are packed with hunting and sporting supplies, firearms and archery equipment. Everything you can think of. Stuff you need, stuff you don't need and stuff that you think you need because you saw it in this month's hunting magazine. Shop Local. Fair prices.I had never done business with the store until today. I found a great buy on a rifle, online at Sportsman's Warehouse. Just as a test, I called Bill's to see if they had one. The answer I got was expected. No. I asked if they could order and match the price. The answer was YES. A quick drive to Claremore and I put it on order. And while perusing the endless shelves packed with goodies, I found some black powder necessaries. Oh, by the way in case my wife askes, this falls under the category of "stuff I need."Good friendly service. A mind blowing small packed store with easy access on Route 66. If you shoot or hunt, try it.

I ordered a firearm and needed them to email the seller so he could send the firearm to them. I was told that I needed to have the guy email them first before they would send him their ffl information. It was both a hassle for me and the guy that I bought the firearm from. With that being said the staff is friendly and kind. Wish they had a better selection of firearms other than revolvers but overall a pleasant experience every time I shop here.

The staff at Bill's sporting goods are most helpful. I travel an hour one way to do business with them and bought my first bow from them over 20 years ago. Highly recommended.

I went there looking for a new shotgun for waterfowl hunting and I was guided exceptionally well. They informed me on everything I needed and walked me through the entire process. I purchased a Stoeger M3000 and could not be happier with the customer service and experience of the workers there.

They are very much about helping you finding the right gun or bow for you and they have no problem letting you look and hold as many guns or bows as you would like. They are the best sporting goods shop in the Tulsa and Claremore area.
