Big Daddy's Right On The Lake

Worst breakfast in history of my 65 years. After waiting on food ( simple eggs , biscuit, ham, bacon, pancake ) over 1 hr , got up to leave and pay for coffee, waitress waves down says order is coming out , talked into staying , sat back down, 5 min later she brings out food with burnt biscuit broke into two pieces , cold gravy, 2 eggs (ordered 3) , said she still owed me bacon ( that never came out) watered down cold grits .Pancake was ok. Complained about whole experience , still charged me 19.00 for my trouble. Goodbye Big Daddy, pretty DAM awful.Forgot to mention during our 1+ wait we got to watching efficiency of kitchen staff and witnessed one of staff opening a new packet of pancake mix with her teeth!!!! No extra charge for whatever disease I get from that.

We visited this very popular restaurant right near Lake Tenkiller. Meals range from sandwiches to burgers to salads. Everything was good, including the thickest steak sandwich I have ever seen! The service was friendly, but possibly stretched a little thin, so it was a slow paced meal-which is fine if you are on lake time.

When they're good, they're great and when they're not so good, well, they are not so great at all. Get them early in the day when things are fresh and it's one of the best meals you'll have in the area. If you go near closing time, you might just get the bottom of the pan. The staff is great, but sometimes they seem a little overwhelmed.

Don't be fooled by appearances, their food is good and so is the service. We enjoyed the chips/queso based an app- the chips were warm and fresh and the queso was warm and creamy. I do wish there had been a few more chips. The burgers were cooked to order, very fresh and the fries were cooked perfectly. Offering bbq/burgers the place was clean and staff was friendly. We enjoyed the covered patio and will be back.

Went there for breakfast this morning and had their chicken fried steak with white gravy and it was amazing. Could cut it with my fork. You have to try this!Went back for dinner and had catfish and grilled shrimp. Really good too.

I would comment on the food, but we couldn't even get drinks. We arrived and found seats and waited for several minutes in near empty restaurant, we finally just left. Go to Miss Aspens Cafe in Gore, the service is great and the food is delicious.

The steaks are as good as any steak house. The service is good. Clean and not overly crowded.

Nice restaurant around the damn on Tenkiller Lake. Has private room for parties, seating inside the covered patio area as well. Greeted by friendly staff and provided great recommendations and service. Wife had the pulled pork with side salad and cajun potatoes. The pulled pork was tender but a little dry but overall good. I had the rib dinner and 4 is quite enough, big tasty ribs which excellent flavor, had mustard based potato salad which I enjoyed, the garlic Parmesan fries were good as well. Overall a great meal and would recommend

Food is good. Service from our waitress was awful. She dropped our food trays on the table while serving, walked away without a word. It was very weird. Flagged down another waitress for help. The food is not good enough for the bad service.

My husband and I eat at this restaurant every week on the days they are open and take friends and family if the opportunity arises. Love the staff, service and food are always good. You should give it a try whenever in the area.
