Balcony Bar & Restaurant

The waiting area was fun. We didn't have to wait long but we got there right at the beginning of dinner time. The service was decent. I don't mind the 18% automatically gratuity but I DID NOT like that the server stood there while I was paying on the device. It just seemed weird. Pay everyone more and do away with tipping period and it wouldn't look so bad on the reviews. The food was decent. My kids both got a burger and liked them. They are frozen patties but it was fine. I got a salad and my husband got the chicken sandwich. The chicken was tiny. He ended up just eating the rest of the kids food since their burgers were nice and big. We sat out on the balcony (even in December) since they had it enclosed and heated. The balcony covers could use a cleaning. Overall, not a bad choice since everything else closes so early in ES. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again though.

The view is nice. Cocktails ok.No service and the railing was filthy.One and done for us.

Fantastic service! Our server was very friendly and nice. We ordered the chips and queso and you could tell the chips were straight from the bag and the queso was half cold and was definitely the Tostitos brand. One of my daughters ordered the Chicken Florentine and the mashed potatoes tasted like the mashed potatoes from the box. Definitely not the quality we paid for. The best food ordered was the loaded fries which were decently priced for what it was. Overall, this isn't a restaurant I would recommend in the area.

It's a neat building with a great balcony, I wouldn't go here for the food but lunch was fine, nothing to brag about. Go here for the balcony views and a cocktail

GET THE HUCKLEBERRY PIE AND HUCKLEBERRY ICE CREAM. Everything is made fresh and the filling is INCREDIBLE. It's everything you would expect in a pie - but better. The crust is flakey, fresh, and the filling is so damn good. Seriously, get your cheat meal in and get this dessert. Your taste buds will thank you.

This place is upstairs and part of the Basin Park Hotel. The hotel itself is said to be haunted but I saw or felt no ghosts on this occasion, lol. Very cool old building to walk through with a few game rooms as part of the hotel. As for the restaurant, I loved the outdoor patio, which gave us great views of the little town below. Our waitress was very friendly, and even helped us decide what to order as we were indecisive! I had the cheesesteak sandwich with fries and was very happy with my food! The sandwich had just the right amount of meat, cheese, peppers and onions and the French fries were tasty as well. The Alabama Slammer cocktail was really good and refreshing. Cool place, good service and good food!

Sometimes nice, sometimes rude. Food is so-so. You better have ESP and know their hours of operation for each night though because they don't post them. I showed up at 6:45 for dinner that it said was served until 9 and I got scolded. Then some other type of human sitting at the bar with a full beer acted like I was behaving badly because I was questioning. Lots of eye rolling was done by staff behind customers backs over the week that I was here. Not the biggest fan

Great spot for dinner and drinks in historic downtown. We started with the hummus appetizer which is the best thing we ordered. I highly recommend as an appetizer. Kids menu is solid as it comes with crayons and drawing games to keep them entertained. I had 'The Best' Burger which was really good. I ordered the steamed vegetables as the side a they were 'meh' so I would go with another option as a side. My daughter ordered the Ice Cream Brownie dessert. I didn't try it, but the kids loved it. Service was really good as well, and good live music on the balcony that was the perfect volume. Loud enough to enjoy, but quiet enough to where you can still have a conversation.

Absolutely have to come back here every Eureka visit. We get the Croissant Club and the Monte Cristo. Great beer selection. Great vibes. Hope this place lives on forever!

Love the environment. Outside balcony has a nice view and live music. Fun little spot. Price was good. Service was slow and food was mediocre. But big portions. Sweet potato fries would have been good but came out cold.
