We stopped at Anton's for lunch, our first time there, and we were pleasantly surprised. The dining room was open and spacious, with tables nicely spaced apart. We were greeted at the door by a very welcoming gentleman, (Anton?) who joked with us while showing us to our table. He remained professional but immediately put us at ease. After seating us, he asked if it was okay to surprise us with an appetizer and said, "If you don't like it, you don't pay." We agreed and were very happy with the Spinach & Eggplant Dip! I don't think we left even a drop on the plate--it's a must-try.When taking our order, we asked about bread or buns, and he laughed, saying, "No bread, you already have bread on the table, (The flatbread), I mix up the salad for you; you'll like it!" We laughed and agreed. He wasn't pushy--in fact, I found him charming and funny. The salad was mixed fresh at our table in a large bowl with his "own dressing," and it was delicious! The entrees were excellent--very flavorful and served HOT. We had the "Crispy Chicken Sandwich," "Rose's Chicken and Shrimp," and "Chicken Parmesan." This meal was one of the rare times we all cleaned our plates.Anton's is a lovely combination of good food, personality, and comfort. We'll definitely be going back!

Anton's is not your run of the mill restaurant. It's definitely a unique experience. And we didn't even meet Anton! We were greeted by a young, friendly hostess who ended up being our server as well. She asked if we had ever been there before, and when we said no, she said we were in for a treat. The restaurant is well maintained with a modern interior, center bar area and TVs for sports viewing. The best word I can use to politely describe this place is "presumptuous". We were given the spinach and eggplant dip appetizer without ordering it. We NEVER order appetizers so this was a little weird, especially when we were told we didn't have to pay for it if we didn't like it. Hubs enjoyed it, but it was just okay to me. The presentation could be better. I wouldn't put a dip on a plate. I didn't take a photo for that reason.Hubs got the ribeye steak with garlic butter sauce and loved every bit of it. He is a strict keto eater so he did not have any veggie option but to get "double salad". He ate the whole bowl. I thought it tasted like Olive Garden salad (which isn't a bad thing, in my opinion). Our server said it was their house made dressing.Another presumption is spice level. I cannot even have red pepper flakes on any food. It would've been nice to ask me first. Maybe because we went on a night where Anton wasn't out greeting guests, I was surprised to see it on my Lemon Garlic Chicken with mashed potatoes. Other than the spice, it was a little "one note" to me. This is more of a sauce, a lot of it. I used the buttered flat bread to finish all of my food.We do want to try this place again, but I'm personally hesitant that asking for simple requests would not go over well. Idk, we'll see. They obviously take a lot of pride in the food that they make. As others have mentioned, this place is definitely not for everyone.

We went here for a work lunch and it was a great experience. The owner was hilarious and kind, which genuinely made the experience what it was. We got the eggplant and spinach dip for appetizer and it was great. Even the bread that came with it was great too - nice and garlicky. He also gave us a good heaping portion of salad, which was pretty good too. I had the rose shrimp and chicken over the craft rice and it was light and delicious. Portion was perfect. But I especially just loved how great the service was, ambiance was very homely as well. Bringing my husband with me the next time!

Great food, easy parking, VERY interactive chef and waiter. This might not be everyone's cup of tea but I personally liked it. You can tell they're passionate about their cooking and the ingredients they use for it.

Stopped in with my grandsons to check out Anton's and we were not disappointed! Isaac ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, while Baylin ordered the 6 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes. We all had salad and drinks. Fabulous family restaurant yet I can envision coming here for a more intimate meal. We'll be back!

Anton Craft Kitchen boasts an impressive track record with over 200 reviews, the majority of which are five-star accolades. This establishment has also carved a niche for itself on social media, drawing our attention. The owner, Anton, presents as a charming and honorable host, qualities that endear him to patrons and add a personal touch to the dining experience. The restaurant itself exudes a clean, modern aesthetic. However, there is a note of incongruence with the presence of children's toys and educational materials near the bar area, which seems out of place in an establishment that serves alcohol. Our culinary journey began with the smoked eggplant spinach dip, a dish that came highly recommended but ultimately fell short of its celebrated status--it was enjoyable but lacked the wow factor. The fried catfish, on the other hand, was a standout. It claims the title of the best in Oklahoma City with its fluffy texture, light batter, and undeniable freshness. Accompanying the catfish, the smashed potatoes were reminiscent of the familiar comfort provided by KFC, albeit with an unexpected twist. When queried about his preparation methods, Anton offered a smile but deftly steered the conversation elsewhere. On Anton's advice, we sampled the sautéed shrimp maisa. While the dish was light and flavorful, it didn't leave the lasting impression we'd hoped for and wouldn't be a compelling reason for a return visit on its own.Looking ahead, there's intrigue in trying Anton's burger, especially with the promise of freshly ground chuck sourced from a local meat market, an effort that underscores the restaurant's commitment to supporting local businesses. In summary, despite the air of hype surrounding Anton Craft Kitchen, its dedication to local produce and the standout catfish dish make it a worthwhile destination. It's a local venture that deserves a chance, even if some offerings don't quite hit the high notes anticipated.

This restaurant is perfect for those who are looking for a lowkey meal with a "homecooked" atmosphere. The owner Anton is very hospitable and proud of his establishment. And rightfully so, he appeared to be running the place by himself! The menu is consistently rotating with new flavors and I started with a half order of the eggplant spinach dip. Picture a cross between a hot baba ghanoush and spinach dip. Hands down the best version of spinach dip I had (I cleaned the plate). I then got the chicken and shrimp rose, Anton recommended adding some spice and I obliged with no regrets. The chicken was a tad dry, but the dish itself was incredibly flavorful!

Loved our meal again today! Anton helped us pick our delicious lunch. The Eggplant appetizer is FABULOUS, and I don't even like eggplant!!! . Can't get enough of it. We get so tired of the same old places. This is a great new option. If you haven't tried Anton's, you're missing a fun, enjoyable, and different restaurant.

The food was spectacular, especially the eggplant spinach dip. It was served with warm pita bread and drizzled with olive oil. I had the chicken Parmesan on a bed of fettuccine. It was fried in a tempura-like batter that was crispy and the chicken was juicy. Topped with a lemon garlic cream sauce.Anton was a character! Very proud of his food and passionate. The restaurant is obviously an old Applebees. I think the lack of brand identity may unconsciously keep people from coming back, but not me! I definitely recommend Anton's, and I'll be going back to try something new. (Anton insisted that you never get the same thing twice.) I'll definitely take his advice!
