Adopted a puppy. Puppy was appearing ill a few days later. Brought puppy to vet. Diagnosed with parvo and two intestinal parasites! They started in shelter according to incubation time. No exposure to young and unvaccinated dogs at home. Contacted shelter, only able to offer a couple treatments that our vet said were insufficient to treat puppy. Shelter claimed the City of Sapulpa doesn't give them enough resources. This is neglect and people are charged with animal neglect in Oklahoma. Did a TOUT form for vet bill and I encourage others to do the same if their adopted pups turned out very ill. Treatments and care need to change at this shelter!!
