I felt so taken care of here! My baby was attacked by another dog on a weekend and they were able to see me almost immediately without insane emergency prices that other places charge. Everyone I interacted with was so compassionate and girl boss is energy radiating through the place. Sara especially was so sweet and helpful from the moment she picked up the phone. Very reasonable prices too

This vet is AMAZING. I had taken my dog to another vet last year when he had a hot spot. The other vet told me he was fine, it was just allergies and to give him Benadryl and gave me a prescription for allergy meds and it came up to about $400! Days later, my poor older dog could barely walk and I could tell the pain was really bothering him. I honestly thought my sweet dog I've had through thick and thin was going to lose a leg. The spots looked infected to me (I am NOT a vet), but when I went AGAIN to our previous vet, I was told the same thing. Of course nothing happened to help him and I was still charged. I called Alta-Vista and even during COVID quarantine they got him in right away, made sure I had the CORRECT medication and treatment plan and treated Gimli with love and affection. I am forever thankful to this vet for helping him get better and you CANNOT beat their prices. Even his anxiety medication for fireworks was such a great deal this summer!! I've gone to many vets in Tulsa and the surrounding areas and Alta-Vista is by far, my favorite. They are friendly, ethical, and you can tell how much they love your pets. He also gets excited whenever we pull up or pass by!! THAT is a mark of an EXCELLENT vet in my experience!! Thank you, wonderful people at Alta-Vista!!

The care my dog has received at AltaVista Animal hospital is second to none. The staff and vet's treat animals with care and compassion that the majority of primary care physicians could learn a great deal from.They also provide pet boarding. There have been multiple occasions where I have had an emergency arise, all I had to do was make a quick phone call to them and have always been able to immediately drop off my dog knowing he would be very well taken care of.

I recently moved to Tulsa and was in search of a vet for a dog I had just rescued. When I brought my dog in to see the vet I explained he was having bladder problems. There was a large mass under his tail. Without examining him in any way the vet responded quickly "it's a tumor." I told her it was soft as if it was full of fluid. She responded "he has tape worms." I asked how she could tell and she said in an alarming tone "because I saw one!" She wanted to take him back to run some tests and when she returned she had three needles she had laid out on the counter for me to see. On was full of blood, the other full of urine and the third containing both. She told me it was urgent we started him on heart worm medication. I refused this and insisted on another opinion. We went to a vet down the road that took walk-ins. There I was informed it was for sure a hernia and that he needed surgery. They referred us to a specialist where he got the surgery he needed.
