Outstanding cabin, seafood and bar & grill with live music several time each week. This is a great lock establishment t with interesting takes on classic food in ways that keep you coming back for more. This is probably the best restaurant in town when considering places that serve seafood and Cajun. It would be one of the top three no matter what. I also think the folks there are friendly and the place is very comfortable. For a full arrive, higher end restaurant A two other stand out things they are known for: reasonable prices and fast service!

First, I want to say my fiancé and I are from New Orleans (born and raised) and moved up here last year for my fiancé's physical therapy school. We were so iffy trying seafood in Arkansas but everyone recommended this place for some good seafood. I got the turkey dinner which was SO GOOD and my fiancé and I split the gumbo and he got fish & shrimp. I ate some of his food and was amazed! We were both super surprised how good everything was! After our meal I asked the waitress if they get the seafood imported or from the gulf and she said the gulf!!! It felt so good to have a taste of home right here in Fort Smith. We'll DEFINITELY be back.

Crowded on a Friday night at 6pm, my choices were to sit outside (too cold) or at the bar (too crowded) or wait for an inside table (at least 30 minutes). So I sat at the bar, the last seat against the wall. Bummer there was nowhere to plug in my phone and I got to rub elbows with some nice folks.Cup of gumbo to start was tasty though too much okra and not enough seafood. The muffin with it was delicious. For main, I chose the oyster poboy. A reasonable price and it had an appropriate number of fried oysters on it. The bread was tasty and included a big pile of "parmesan-dusted" fries that were nicely done.I enjoyed my dinner other than the crowd and four star gumbo. A power outlet under the bar would have made if five stars.[Review 20573 overall - 317 in Arkansas - 1554 of 2023.]

The waitress here was very sweet. We came once for dinner and a second time for drinks within a a few days. My coworker said she enjoyed the fish tacos. The jambalaya was also better than I was expecting. Very nice spot.

I eat here at least once a week and I'm not alone. They have won Gold in River Valley for Best Seafood Restaurant and Best Overall Restaurant in 2023 and several years prior since they opened 10years ago. The staff will treat you like a Houseguest and the kitchen staff have never put out a dish that isn't perfect. One of the few places in River Valley to get Oysters year round raw, cooked, and grilled. A friend from San Diego tried their fried Calamari and said it was better than any she had in 40 years in California.

Overall great experience! The staff was listening and was on point with refills and such. The restaurant was cozy, narrow dining room with a bar at the entrance. There was outdoor seating with fire pits, but our table sat inside. We started our meals with the "Oysters Casino" as an appetizer, with a preference for the ones with a shrimp and bacon bits (forgot the name, oops). I then ordered the "blackened salmon", with the "Au Gratin Tater Cakes", which were delicious. I asked to get the pico de gallo on the side, just felt a little out of place on the salmon, but it's personal preference. Someone from the table ordered the "Cat-touffee", with a side of asparagus, which was equally as good. Finally for dessert, our table ordered the banana pudding and the double chocolate cake, with a personal preference for the chocolate cake. The bill pictured at the end included a 10% discount for the military.
