Ailey Cafe

Not much has changed between Ailey and Frosty and Edna's. The food was decent, the serving of food was slow due mostly to a slow kitchen. It was interesting that there was valentines, St Patrick's day and Easter decorations in the restaurant.

Another great comfort food place. Especially for breakfast. Only been here once on a motorcycle run around the lake. I thought it was I great place.

This is a great little diner. We had breakfast of eggs and bacon. The bacon was thick and tasty and the eggs were perfect. Janis was our server. She was friendly and kept my coffee filled with good coffee. The place is quaint and clean. We'll be back!

This is our second time for breakfast. Service was friendly and did not take long at all. The 3 egg omelette was huge and filled with tons of goodies. Very Fresh ingredients! So glad this place is here!!

Probably the worse place you could ever eat. You'll reach the point of walking out waiting for your meal, till you get it then you realize they were just giving you a chance to remember what you felt like before their sub par possibly spoiled food sends you running for the bushes

There are much better options in the area. I can't rate the food because the waiter brought us our drinks but would not take our order for over 20 minutes and so we decided to leave. The place smelled like an old feed lot and body odor, and we saw the cook come out covered in greasy dirty clothes which she used to wipe her hands off with. As we were leaving the cook was busy taking a smoke break and no effort was made to attempt to retain our business. I understand that this is a small town and good help is hard to come by, but the sign for the establishment specifically states "good food, good service" and I don't think either of those are present at Ailey's Cafe.

Owner has 40 years experience in restaurant. Excellent food. Well worth the wait. Get to know the locals and customers getting ready to hit the lake. This family friendly restaurant is the gateway to Grand Lake of the Cherokees. Save room for the desserts. Semper Fi !! :-)
