Affordable Pet Care Veterinary Clinic - Tulsa

This vet is one of the best I've ever been to. I have four dogs and three cats. Two of my babies had to have surgery yesterday and everything was explained beforehand. After the surgeries, I got a call from Dr. Jason Carver about their status and what they did with a time I could go and get them. All of my visits here go like this and they are much appreciated.

Friendly staff that goes above and beyond for their patients. They provide excellent care at affordable prices and are quick to answer any questions you have. I have reccomended them to all my friends and family.

These idiots lost my moms dog and tried blaming her for it. They insisted on getting the dog out of the car and for my mom to not bring her dog in. That now turned into their responsibility to get the dog into their business. From the get go they weren't compassionate and extremely rude towards her and me. Their office manager was the worst flipping me the middle finger after I told her to find my moms dog. If you live your animals do not ever take them there. If they can't keep track of animals then they shouldn't be health practitioners. Please don't let this happen to you and avoid these careless people. I hope they can at least get an office manager with better people skills.

I recently adopted two dogs that I had been fostering for about a year. I needed a vet that was close to home and that would provide affordable care for my two dogs (4&6). Despite the reviews APC has, it has been great. The staff are exceptional and clearly demonstrate their love for animals. They've got great comprehensive packages for shots and checkups that won't break the bank. I've gone a few times now and they have provided adequate solutions to all of my animals medical issues from my older dogs really bad anxiety to my younger dogs allergies. I've had to go and refill prescriptions and they have consistently had them ready within an hour of me calling. I really appreciate the folks here and their patience, kindness and understanding for animals.

My family continues to bring our pets here and could not be happier. I'm updating my review to show that we continue to be impressed with the service and standards of APC. They have never overcharged us, never oversold us, and always do a great job. I am disappointed in the review from Shalawn B., because my experience with APC has been absolutely nothing like that. We have had some larger procedures carried out here as well as routine ones, and we have simply never experienced the kind of antics she alludes to. I do know that APC ensures the owner is OK with any charges upfront, which is better than an irate customer who can't afford the bill they did not know was coming--not everyone has the luxury of being able to "not care about money."

I took my Pom here on 4 separate occasions. On the 3rd of the 4 visits they seemed to be desperate for Cash. The Latin Tech always is the one to force additional fees & or inquire about your budget. On one visit I was asked " What is your budget"? Because we need to know what to prescribe and it might be expensive. This before my dog had been examined. I told them to let the doctor at least diagnose him before we discuss budgets. If I bought him there surely I could pay the cost quoted when appointment was made. Highly unprofessional and reeks of greed. The Straw that broke the camels back was them calling me in a panic with my most recent visit regarding my boy who was having a back-flush done for a stone in his Urethra; the Tech made it seem like had to be brought back to life. Scared the hell out of me. He also said "BTW, it's going to be an additional $50-100 because we had to give him more medicine. I'm like I don't care about money how is my Boy?? He had me on speaker phone so I know they all were listening to gauge my emotional state about my dog to their advantage, Dr. Included. They took shotty X-Rays. I ended him taking him to another place the Dr. Sent me to having to repeat the process again within a matter of hours. They sent over X-Rays that were dark and really hard to see. They had to retake them. They didn't even try to take X-rays like they cared to see or find the issue with my dog. They were just about taking me for every penny they could without any results for my boy.All this hysteria to get more money. My boy is apart of my family. He is like my son & to exploit the love you have for you're animal, to squeeze more money out of you , I can't in good conscious recommend this place.

My 4 month old shih tzu puppy had surgery on his nose for a condition is called Stenotic Nares. Basically his nostrils were nearly closed shut. Because he is so small I was very nervous about the him having any surgery at all! Dr. Wallace did a FANTASTIC job and my shih tzu is breathing easily now! Plus his nose looks totally normal. Kind of like he had plastic surgery! Everybody at the office is kind and professional. The cost of this surgery was about less than half of what another vet close to me (south Tulsa) had quoted. I am super happy and will absolutely be taking by dogs to Affordable Pet Care for everything now. Very glad to have found them.

Most reasonable clinic in the Tulsa area!! Just proves you don't have to offer an arm or leg to provide quality care for your pets!

They killed my 6 yr old English Bulldog by putting her under while she had a bleeding disorder and misdiagnosed her the day before putting her under to look at her teeth. Then they called me and told me that she was bleeding internally and she was having a hard time coming out of the anesthesia and they transferred her in a car without oxygen to the animalEmergency hospital on 41st and the vet there told my husband she was brain dead when they delivered her. The owner isn't even a veterinarian but gives all his personal advice and acts like a vet , his name is Scott and his he actually lives out of state too. They took no responsibility for what they did and still wanted their money. We could and should have sued them but I know that it won't bring my baby back. I pray no one takes their pets to this place.

Cannot say enough about these folks. Was driving from California to Toronto, Canada and realized that the dogs were not up to date on there shots and may not be allowed to enter Canada. Called these wonderful folks and Michelle went above and beyond to get us in right away so we did not lose a day on the road. Dr Cash and as great. They were thorough and took good care of the boys. Also did a full wellness check and followed up with a message the next day to check on the guys.Highly recommend. They are both professional and caring. you so much. Russ Clarke--Tank and Sam
