I took my car to get ac fixed ...aamco told me that my compressor didn't work ....and that I needed to get a electrical diagnostic and they charged $120 a hour for that and they needed 2 hours to figure it out ...so before even knowing what was wrong with it the cost would be $240 and I would have to pay for whatever they found... I told them no I'll just come pick up my car. Then I take my car to Firestone 41st &Yale were they charge $45 for a ac check and then pay whatever they find wrong with it .....they just called me and told me my compressor works fine.... it's a valve that goes to my compressor that's bad...that cost 18.99 and they don't charge labor to replace it ...in the meantime I find a coupon online for firestone where it's on $9.99 to check the ac ....so TOTAL cost before tax with Firestone to fix my ac is $28.98I guess because I'm a woman Aamco thought they could tell me anything. I will NEVER go back to them or would I recommend anyone going to them!!!!!

I had my front brake pads replaced on my 2016 Toyota sequoia. A couple of months after they started squealing really badly. So I called and got my car back in and they couldn't hear the squeal which was ridiculous because they were squealing constantly. So I took it back home and it was immediately squealing when I left the shop. So I called again, and the guy answering the phone was rude and told me that if his manager didn't call me back by the end of the day and decided to ghost me that I should call back. So unprofessional. Then I took the car back in again and they had it for three days and told me that they needed to replace the back brakes. Because they thought it was coming from the back. Which it was not. For $375. So I picked it up I took my car to another shop to have my brakes inspected. Because they had recommended to replace the back brakes. Even though the sound from the brake pads is coming from the front. The other shop told me that I still have 60% brake pad on the back and 80% on the front. And the reason that the pads are squealing is because they use really cheap brake pads on my car. The new shop offered to replace my brakes for $255 which was more than $100 less than aamco. They said that we should put on dealer brakes to avoid the squealing sounds but if I just wait it out the squealing could possibly stop once the rotor settled in with the pads since the front brakes are so new.The new shop was very honest with me. They didn't try to scam me like aamco tried to. They did not recommend replacing the back brakes. They said my brakes are safe they're just noisy because of the cheap pads that aamco used. I will never go back to aamco. I don't trust them and I feel like they tried to scam me out of $375 yesterday.I sent a aamco an email about it and they told me if I wanted dealer pads that it would have cost me more money but they never offered that to me and they're already over $100 more expensive than the other shop to start with and this other shop is a well known shop. Not a mom and Pop.I don't need my back brakes replaced. I still have 60% of the pad.

I do not recommend this shop under any circumstance. I took my F150 here because my transmission was slipping. I ended up paying them to rebuild my transmission. After receiving my truck back I noticed a fluid leak coming from the bottom of my truck. This was never the case because my truck is always parked in the garage and never had any leaks prior to taking it there. I took it back and they said it was my timing chain cover that was leaking. I trusted them and paid them to get that replaced as well as the timing chain and phasers. I am all in over 7 grand at this point. I receive my truck back and it was still leaking from the same place. Over the course of months I took my truck back for them to fix the issue. During this time they were negligent and did not assemble my truck back together properly numerous times causing a breakdown on the highway, smoke coming from the engine bay, and additional leaks to start. The manager Daniel, acknowledged their mistakes, apologized and called it "poor workmanship". He still offered no compensation for my total of over 300$ worth of Ubers going back and forth dropping off my truck and being without a vehicle. The last time I picked my truck up from there it was leaking from multiple places and Daniel told me to take it to another shop. They did not want to fix the issues they caused. I took it to the dealer and they confirmed that Ammco's scope of work areas caused additional damage to my vehicle to the tune of 6,000$. This was a complete nightmare and I had to replace the truck. I am glad the nightmare is over but I hope this comment will save others from Daniel and the "poor workmanship"

This shop quite literally nails every stereotype of a terrible mechanic. They took three days just to diagnose the problem when they said it would take one. They never called to update us; I had to call them everyday. The shop is greasy and the guys that work there are greasy (and I mean more than a mechanic has to be; the front office guy looked like he had not showered in a week). The price they quoted was four times what it should have been. And to top it all off, they scratched the heck out of our bumper. The GM did finally agree to repair it but they said it would take a week. ONE WEEK TO FIX A SCRATCH IN A BUMPER. This place needs to close down. STAY AWAY!
