Best bet in town. We've been going there for over a decade. I love that they're walk in and locally owned. Dr Green is just about the nicest person you'll meet. Dr Haak is willing to go above and beyond to try new things if it can save a life. Pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to other clinics. Truly can't recommend them Highly enough.

I have had great experiences with this office so far and appreciate its convenience. You don't have to make an appointment, so you can just come whenever you have time, and I've never had a long wait. It is also nice that they have their own online pharmacy, so you don't have to get the prescription from them or have a pharmacy contact them; it's all one easy step, and they sometimes email out coupons. When I had to put my dog to sleep, they made it as comfortable as possible for him, gave us options on each step, and treated us very kindly. I really felt like they cared about the dog and about us.

I have been to my fair share of vets. 15th Street Veterinary clinic is by far one of the best I've been to. I say this because they actually gave me the feeling they cared about my pet. They were up front with the charges and made sure to get confirmation before moving on with treatment each step of the way. Being seen was quick and treatment was equally as quick (same day surgery). I will say that this is a business and they are doing their job so that yes, payment is required up front, but that is business. No negative review here. I know my pets are taken care of when I take them to 15th street. Thanks 15th Street!

You should ALWAYS have a financial plan for your customers. You don't run up a bill and then threaten to keep the dog if you can't pay. I'm not even sure that's legal, but these people did this to my son and he was so upset. They didn't care. He had to borrow money and they really didn't do anything for the $500 worth of care he was charged for. DO NOT EVER GO TO A VET THAT CANNOT MAKE A PLAN FOR A CUSTOMER. VETS ARE WORSE, THIS ONE AT LEAST FOR DISILLUSIONING A YOUNG MAN AND TRYING TO CHARGE HIM FOR UNNECESSARY ITEMS. ALMOST LIKE A CAR SALESMAN WHO TAKES ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN, AND YOUNG ADULTS. I'm so disappointed at people these days. So you have no payment plans, no leeway for anything even though you really did nothing but hydrate the dog. Just so you all know, he brought his dog home, after being advised he needed a $1,000 blood transfusion, seriously. (Cash up front, big surprise) We have worked hard but this dog as of today is making a recovery. Do not give these people your money. There is a great vet on North Sheridan who isn't shady. Learn it, know it, live it. I only gave the one star because I had to write the review.

I had used this vet for several years. The doctor is quite nice. However, on my most recent (and final) visit, My pet was subjected to abuse and i was treated rudely by the vet tech. After I was treated rudely, I advised the dvm, who decided to stand by his vet tech, despite what was obviously a lack of ability to do her job, and an unwillingness to admit that she might have borne some responsibility for the poor service I received. I will never return to this vet. They're more concerned with blaming their patients and customers than providing quality care to your pets.

"Such a gentle, wonderful group of professionals. They give excellent customer service, explain things thoroughly, and have the cleanest facilities I've ever visited. Reasonably priced, they'll also match any on line prices for pet meds."

I was charged $245 for a Dtap booster, a bordatello vaccine and a month of Semperica for two foster puppies. I'm paying out of pocket and received no discount for any of it, which is very disappointing, especially since I was charged $200 three weeks ago for their first round of shots. Trying to save lives, keep dogs out of shelters and find them good homes doesn't seem to matter anymore.

I brought my sweet elderly cat in as a walk in on a Saturday morning. She was seen within 15 mins of me waiting in the parking lot. The staff was very friendly , even standing in the cold a bit longer to talk with me. They gave me options for treatment and didn't push expensive tests on me and even let me carry out my own ER nursing care on her at home. Highly recommend!
