"I live right around the corner and have been coming here for years. There has recently been new owners and I feel like the menu and food quality have gone up! Can't beat the Party Pint on a Friday. A big highlight for me is the Baja fish taco. It's the best fish taco in town in my opinion."

"10 months later, we visited for lunch again. Service was perfect. I had the shrimp tacos, refried beans and Mexican corn. 10/10 The hubs had the pork stew and house salad. The salad was huge and he liked the Posole better than this one. High quality food and service. Great place if you haven't tried it."

"Loved it, loved it, loved it! I found this out-of-the-way restaurant listed on Trip Advisor and it wasn't far from where we were going for karaoke, so I decided to give it a try. The recommendation had been for the Wet Burrito, so I ordered that, with shredded beef. You can also get it with chicken or several other options, but the shredded beef sounded good to me.To begin with, the burrito is about the width of my arm. It was huge (for a burrito, my arms aren't all that). And it had both sour cream and guacamole on top, so I could try both and decide which was better (the sour cream won). The "wet" part is the sauce that they cover it with, also delicious.The place is as authentically Mexican as you can get outside of Mexico, and the people are very nice and attentive. If you've never been here, give it a chance. You'll find good food and a good price with nice people. They have a parking lot with free parking, so that's an added bonus."

"Love love love Hidalgo's! The service is fast, friendly, and attentive. Small or large groups, you'll get the best service! The food is very tasty! I appreciate all the complimentary salsas, queso's, relishes, chips, and tortillas. I love their queso's the best! I ordered the salad and it was so so good! I would order this again and change the combinations of toppings to try different things. If you're a soda lover this is your place, the cups are LARGE- I was in Dr Pepper heaven! The decor has a fun, modern vibe w/ bright colors, neon word displays. After a certain hour, they dim the lights a bit to not be so bright when the suns going down. I like that attention to detail!"

"Food was authentic and so flavorful! Delicious to the last bite! Large portions, could not finish! Order food, make your drink and sit down. Self service and there was a line of course but moved fairly quick.Took about 20min for the food but it was worth it. Chips and salsa are not complimentary but that's the new norm huh.They stayed packed the entire time and full bar for cocktail time as well. Large selection of Tequila! Food servers are nice and pleasant and they move fast."

"I had no idea of what I was missing out on! This place is truly off the hook delicious! My wife & I have been going to the sane dentist for over 15 years and often said we're going to try that place as we drove past year after year! For some reason or another we never did . . . until last week!If you like Mexican food then this is a must try! Our waiter was awesome, very patient while we decided what to order. I've got to go back sometime soon because the meal & service was so good!I ordered the Hot Burrito which I can only describe as epic! A monster burrito which I thought I could never finish . . . but somehow I did! Utterly fantastic!My wife ordered the Enchiladas which of course I had to taste! Very good!Like I said if you like Mexican this is a must try!"

"We were told the chorizo was great and the queso was a must-get. While I opted for carne asada and carnitas tacos, Grant ordered the chorizo burrito--which was a definite 8/10. The guacamole was super, super fresh and a really strong avocado flavor coming through more than any spices, lime, or onion. The white queso was packed with flavors and a great addition to our meal, and the salsa was one of the favorites I've had in Tulsa. It had a certain nostalgia to it as it was similar to a spot in my home town. Altogether Don Fransisco was great and is worth a repeat visit. The tacos themselves were good. The meat was flavorful and the onions and cilantro were fresh. My only critique was that it was rather dry and needed a little salsa and lime to help."

However, the food it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good. I ordered the shrimp tacos they were just bland a little flavor. I definitely wouldn't come back for the food. However, the drink that I ordered was was good."

"Food was great and service even better! We were lucky to have Amy G as a server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Our table of 5 all ordered different drinks and never did we go thirsty or wanting anything. Her kindness and service alone was worth the visit and the great dishes were an amazing accompaniment."

"Calaveras was shutdown for some time while the food truck was making its ways around Tulsa. I was doing a photo shoot & they were open so I decided to treat myself. Ironically, it was on a Taco Tuesday (which they have specials on tacos).I got their combo of two tacos, rice & beans. They have a salsa bar and I ran with the verde & roja and grabbed so of their pickled jalapeños. Their retired beans are really really good, I would eat a side of their beans alone & be satisfied. I got chicken for my tacos are they were SUPER good (I had to hit 'em with extra lime).Along with the beans & tacos, the rice went well with both. They had flan sitting in the fridge that I couldn't keep my eyes off of & knew I wouldn't have the room to want some right then & there. The employee was super nice & hooked me up with a handful of cups to do my thing with the salsa bar. I'm glad this spot opened back up.*I don't remember if I saw breakfast on the menu when I was there. It's possible that they serve it because their food truck did.*"

"I was craving chips and salsa and we were in the Jenks area, so we tried it for the first time. Chips did not disappoint! Really good. The salsa was too mild tho. Just to get some taste I had to practically submerge the entire chip into it. Definitely super mild salsa. The rest of the food was good. Taco kind of bland, so I asked for some lettuce on the side. The waiter was very friendly!"

"My favorite things about this spot is the margaritas, white cheese dip and tasty salsa! There's been plenty of times we've ordered just the set up to go along with our meal at home. You can also get a margarita to go (of course drink it when you get home...no drinking and driving)! The staff is always friendly and attentive. They will get you in and out if you're in a hurry. Patio seating area for those nice days to sit outside."

"This place in Bricktown turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed watching the activities below. Ordered some nachos with ground beef and the salsa trio. Both were very good. The salsa in particular were very flavorful. Ground beef on the nachos was well seasoned and not dry. Ordered at the counter and food was brought out promptly"

"The thing I walk away from Cafe Sol remembering is the great service. The staff seemed to genuinely want our experience to be a great one. They checked on us several times and were eager to ensure we had all we needed. The restaurant is fairly small, and it was busy with most tables filled by the time we left. You order at a counter, and then find a table. The food was presented nicely. We all tried different things, and the best to protein for me was the Al Pastor. The other food didn't knock my socks off, but it was all pretty good. If we lived more near this area, I would go here again"

"Small place, so this was a hole in wall and I had seen a lot of reviews. Tried it, was not impressed. The best part was the agua de pina- pineapple water, was fresh and tasted just right. Al pastor burrito was huge but mostly beans and rice and big pile of cilantro in the bottom (yuck mouthful) the meat was scare and some pieces were super hard (yesterday's meat). Nope for me. My son had chicken quesadilla and beans and rice, he liked the rice and the quesadilla was ok. Chicken looked a lot dark meat mmmm idk Gravel parking lot, idk bout bathroom, dimly lit inside. Seen alot of people come and get to-go orders.I don't think I would be back...."

"We wanted to try something different after church and I had a hankering for a gyro, so we tried this out, and were pleasantly surprised.Unassumingly nestled in a strip mall off of 41st, this little restaurant surprised us with its freshness and flavors. Of particular note is their meat is Hamal certified, ethically killed and butchered making it acceptable for all Muslims to eat. It was evident in the gyro meat because it was juicy and tender with a wonderful seasoned flavor.Momma had the plate which was meat over rice and a choice of sides (hummus, tabouli, and grilled veggies) and I had the gyro platter with fries and a drink. The fries are hand cut in house, peppered but not over seasoned. They were delicious.We had a great visit with the owner and learned about everything from Hamal, his cooking to kids at TU. It was a great visit and he made made us feel like family."

"Any restaurant that feeds me well for under $10 deserves at least 4 stars automatically. When the food is good on top (doesn't have to be excellent), how could I not give it the last star as well? At Uncle Paco's, one could get certain lunch or dinner entrees for less than $10. I got the burrito al queso (one of their bestsellers) which was $11. The burrito only had grilled chicken in it but it came with beans and rice, topped with queso. I really preferred to have my burrito this way as it was easier for me to consume. Sometimes when you add too many things to a burrito, it can get too "heavy" for me. Like previously stated, the food was good, not excellent but for a cheap eat, COUNT ME IN ANYDAY."

"I've been twice and haven't left disappointed. The house margaritas are delicious with egg white for frothing. The first time I visited, we were served complimentary chips and black bean dip, the second time, chips and yummy salsa. The tamale queso is so so good - don't sleep on this. And the environment is vibrant. I booked reservations in advance and the staff made an adjustment on my request for indoor seating instead of being on the outdoor high tops. Very accommodating people. So glad we have this here in Tulsa."

"Home alone tonight so ran down to get some Mexican Togo. The place was pretty busy with the Sunday afternoon crowd. Ordered right away. Grande beef chimichanga, corn and ranchero beans and a side of habanero salsa. Also comes with pico de gallo, sour cream, red salsa, cheese and chips. It took about 10 minutes or so and I was only way. The manager was awesome and took care of me. Everything was hot when I got home and has great flavor just as if I was eating there. The beef had a nice char and was tender. I mix the corn and beans together for a nice mix. They give you plenty of the set up stuff and a huge bag of chips. Great place to dine in or take out."

"My family has been coming here for many years. The food has been consistently good, but the service is hit or miss. There are not a ton of options for vegetarians but certain things can be modified. Even less options for vegans but it's possible to find something to eat. They're stingy with their salsa for large groups but will bring more if you ask. The queso can be spicy sometimes but it's still tasty. The portions are decent size so some meals can be shared between two people. I highly recommend the cheese enchiladas, my go-to meal."

"I am sad This is no longer in Tulsa but this is a restaurant if I lived in Owasso, I would go to all the time. first of all building your own burrito or taco or bowl or whatever is great, and they have seafood, including grilled fish which no other place that makes your own burrito does. Also the fact that you get free chips and salsa with your order so much better than chipotle or Qdoba. The service is quick the food is good. This is a great place and not very expensive."

"The service here is fantastic but the food just didn't impress me which was disappointing bc others in my family speak so highly of it. Maybe nostalgia for them. The ambiance comes off as a legit authentic Mexican restaurant but the menu is all tex-mex. You can, if you know, order authentic Mexican items and they'll gladly prepare them for you. The prices are quite high for what you receive quality wise. The portions are large but the food is really nothing special. I've been told that it's changed since 2017 and use to be better especially before Covid."

"Good Mexican food at reasonable prices, but I do miss free queso and tortillas like so many restaurants offer. The food included some really good items-the esquiete dip (corn dip appetizer) and the fajitas were both worth coming back for. Some of the other items were lacking flavor and spice. The restaurant itself was spacious, clean and decorated nicely. The service was pretty good, but we did have a couple of small issues. Overall, we had a nice meal, and it was good to try something new."

"Was pleasantly surprised. Food was good. Great salsa and queso came with food which it should. Asked for spicy salsa and it was good as well. Tortillas good and seemed homemade with relish. Got the tamale and cheese enchilada plate. Was very tasty. Wife got the chicken taco salad and said it was good. Would recommend for area and is best Mexican restaurant so far I have tried in mustang. Would come back."

"This location is very clean and the employees are very friendly and quick on their feet! They always bring plenty of chips, salsa, queso, tortillas, and any other extra dips while you wait for your food. The food comes out fairly quickly. Alfredos has added new items to their menu. "We were passing through OKC and Los Vaqueros was down the road from the hotel. Reviews sounded promising and the menu was acceptable. I ordered the guiso plate, pork with green sauce on the recommendation of the lady taking my order. My wife got the Lalo Special. We both had to pinch ourselves as we were eating. Had we been this deprived of Mexican food while we were on the road, or was this one of the best meals we've had in a while? We determined it was the best in a while.Let's start with how our to go order worked out. I walked in to order. It took them a little over 10 minutes to get our meal made. It was the cheapest meal we had in a week. The bag was as hot as lava and all I could think about was how the styrofoam must be disintegrating. Wrong! They packed it in foil trays that were still smoking hot when we got back to the hotel. Our order came with chips, a cup of salsa (that was fantastic), and a cup of queso (that was unremarkable, but thoughtful and we still enjoyed it). They were also generous with the tortillas.The green sauce for the pork guiso was perfectly delicious. Tart and spicy, I almost had to lick the pan. My wife shared some of her chicken and enchilada with me. The enchilada cheese was the right amount of firm and flavored. The servings were very generous."

"If you're in this shopping mall over at River City trading post or in the cute little garden shop, this is a great place to cool off with a frosty, frozen margarita, the best in Tulsa for sure! For added fun, add in a corona upside down I don't know why, but it sure is great on a hot summer day. The food is also good I recommend the green enchiladas Verde and also the chicken tortilla soup plus a frosty cold, frozen margarita."

"50 stars for Taco San Pedro !! So I grew up in Hawaiian Gardens, where the OG one started. I have been having Taco San Pedro for over 20+ years. When I go back to HG, me & the family STILL pick up TSP. We ALWAYS order their flautas. They have THEE best flautas. So for me HG has amazing chicken ones, but here in Oklahoma City, the carne asada are better. We travel America in an RV, and NEVER in our wildest dreams would we have thought there's TSP outside of California. We came here and had asked, Huh, is this the same TSP in HG? The owner heard us and said Yes! That one was my dad's restaurant. We order flautas, extra queso, as usual, yumm, they were just like the ones back home. The owner was such a sweetheart!! He sat & we talked about his dad & the restaurant. We told him his flautas were the best we've ever had. NO ONE else is putting lettuce, creama, queso, guacamole on top. I usually buy one plain taco to mop up the "salad" after I'm done with the flautas. This was such a joy to find !!!"

"Good food. Love the look of the new place. We have been here a few times. We went initially in December and the place is very very cold inside. Take a coat. This last time, it was 104 outside but it was pleasant inside.. the tacos are amazing as is the chips and salsa. Staff are attentive. Would recommend."

It is consistent in flavor and freshness, visit after visit and always delivers a perfect start to a meal. I had the best wet Chili Colorado Burrito in Tulsa and my wife had the #2 combo: enchilada, tamale and a taco. The tamale was shredded beef. The enchilada and taco were packed with ground beef. Everything was well seasoned. The refried beans really stood out. They were perfectly creamy smooth and flavorful. I could have eaten a bowl of them.The food is delicious! The proof of this claim is documented. I was amazed as I looked at all the recognition this restaurant has received. The walls are covered with newspaper and local magazine articles attesting to the quality of the food and service over its past 25 plus years of operation. Local diners have chosen Cancun as their favorite, year after year. If I lived in a nearby neighborhood, I would be eating here, way too often. The folks working in here were very nice. The restaurant is spotless. Every time I have been to Cancun the owner has been busy cleaning.
