Yokohama Asian Express

My family has been coming here since I was a little girl when it used to be named "Yokohama Rice Bowl". Our favorite thing to get is their pork fried rice with a side of BBQ pork. It can be expensive but it has a lot of nostalgia for my family so we are happy to see they are still standing!Staff was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. Hope to be back again next time I'm in town!

Oh man!!! It's been a while since I visited a Yokohama, it still was called Yokohama Rice Bowl. The cool thing ia that every single bite tastes just the same like before. My favorite ever is the beef Teriyaki, with rice and some veggies. The egg rolls are just the best I've tried EVER. So if you go there, ask for an order of 2, totally worth it. The prices have risen a little, but it's still delicious and I'm still going to pay for this kind of food because it's fast and with a pretty good taste.There's a refill soda fountain, just a few flavors, there's iced tea also, and some horchata for a few more bucks.The place isn't super clean, it's just decent. And the girls on the counter are a little serious but they do their job alright. So please please! Come to yokohama! If you like asian food you're gonna love it!

I do some work in this area and have passed this place a million times and never stopped but today I did. What can I say? I was pleasantly surprised. I went on a Thursday at 1:30 in the afternoon so I was not expecting them to be busy but they were. Even though I had several questions because I had not been here before the woman that took my order answered all the questions and was extremely pleasant. I ended up ordering the spicy teriyaki chicken over steamed rice with a side of crab puffs. The chicken was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet with the right amount of sauce and a subtle smoky flavor. The vegetables were not too crisp and not mushy. They were cooked beautifully. The crab puffs were fresh and hot and I could taste the chives and crab with every bite. They have a sign advertising homemade sauces made fresh every day so I tried the sweet-and-sour sauce with my crab puffs. It was absolutely delightful- not thick and gelatinous like a lot of sweet and sour sauces tend to be. It also had a really great flavor. I will definitely be coming back here again. They advertise daily specials and a teriyaki Tuesday where you can get their teriyaki dish for $4.99.

Man I wish I could give a negative star here. Possibly the worst food I have ever had. Ordered the beef and broccoli with a side of fried rice. Literally, I had 4 pieces of beef in the whole dish. Bunch of broccoli with very mushy and bland rice included. The fried rice is burnt and tasteless. Full of flavor if you like the taste of burnt food!!! Never again.

So they have noodles and rice but won't substitute rice for noodles with any dish. Makes no sense!
