Woodland Palms Assisted Living & Memory Care

The staff at Woodland Palms are all so helpful. The food is great and the courtyard is beautiful. Happy residents!

Excellent facility. The resident rooms are constantly being upgraded and improved, the support staff are always busy cleaning, repairing and upgrading. It's very nice to walk into a facility and see everyone from resident to employee smiling and cheerful. The activities and visits from therapy dogs, musicians, ministers, there is even a lady that comes and reads every week. Truly a wonderful environment!

If your loved one has dementia, do not place them here. The staff is unskilled for that type of care. They will and have kicked residents out, in the last few days of their life--even while they were on hospice! The management is uncaring, unprofessional and unskilled. The caregivers, mostly, are lazy and do not watch the residents to ensure they are taking their medications. Anything of value will go missing or get stolen. The place is often dirty, and constantly clogged toilets which can remain clogged for days. There is a nice yard, and the food is pretty good. That is about all the positive things I can say about this place. Avoid! Care giver ratio is about 1 to 30, especially on 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends. They tell you it's 1 to 5, but, they are counting every employee! Dishwashers, housekeeping, chefs, receptionists, etc.
