Winterhaven is one of the holiday traditions that anyone who loves Christmas lights has to go see in Tucson!!It's a wonderful neighborhood that puts up spectacular lights, everyone has a different theme and it is always so nice to get into the holiday spirit! My family has done the hay ride, driving and walked through! If your one who likes to bundle up with a cup of hot coco and just admire the lights and get that crisp cool weather feeling then take the hay ride if you like to listen to Christmas music and admire the lights then drive through! If you love taking pictures in front of the lights and houses then walking through is your best bet for great pictures up close!

Very fun & informative ride! Only thing I would change would be to let people get off & take pics in front certain spots. But, overall, very nice experience!

So, on our second ever visit to Winterhaven over the holidays we decided to try something different than walking. We had family in town and wanted to do some festive stuff. We ended up renting a 16 seat Wagon (reserved weeks in advance) which made it WAY more fun (albeit crowded). The wagon ride was amazing, particularly if you don't want to fight the crowds walking on the streets. They got us checked in pretty quickly, and it was surprisingly organized considering the masses waiting around. Roughly 45 minutes and they cart you around to see all the lit up houses. You can bring snacks and drinks along which is a bonus. Really glad we gave Winterhaven a second chance -- the wagon ride really made the difference. It was a ton of fun, and got everyone into the spirit of the season!

They are horrible people who almost ruined my car. I turned over my car to a valet to park and he locked the keys in it while it was idling. By the time the locksmith opened it, 90 minutes later, the car was overheating badly. I tried adding radiator fluid, but it still overheated every time I idled. I finally took it into a mechanic to fix it.The owner of the rides refused to pay for the mechanic or even refund our money. The valet took money out of his pocket to help, but the owners never reimbursed him. They also told us these were "hayrides". In fact, it was a crammed shuttle pulled by a diesel belching jeep.We were all in bad moods for the holidays after this. I cannot think of a worst Christmas experience I've ever had.If you do decide to go walk or drive your own car in. Never, ever take this overpriced sham of a ride.

Somehow everyone but my family had paid in advance and had secured spots on the wagons. We were Squeezed in at the last minute so it wasn't really a problem we didn't have to wait long. However so the ride was fast and efficient and far warmer than walking through Winterhaven there wasn't as much Christmas cheer as I had expected. All in all a fun experience.

We had a great time every thing was very well organized The propane jeeps were amazing no oder the pace was just as slow as we were walking and the driver even took time to point out things that were very interested. All of them were in great moods helped me in and out of the wagons I am going to be going back next year and ride again. I highly recommend the ride to everyone

I've been going on these wagon rides for years. I have the most amazing time!! I love the Jeeps! My driver this year was Darcy. She was fantastic and so sweet! Winterhaven Rides is truly a Tucson treasure! This is the best way to see the Winterhaven Festival of lights! I must say one thing tho, there is no valet parking provided by Winterhaven Rides. There is plenty of free and pay lots just across the street. So easy, walked 50 feet and there we were. They even had a fire going and hay bails to sit on! Still smiling
