Tricked again by Yelp reviews. The guy from Jersey saying this is just as good as back home is what made us give this place a try and either that guy is a fake review or he has no idea what he is talking about and doesn't know what real good pizza from NY/NJ is, because this pizza isn't even close. I'm from Jersey and this is not even pizza I would even give my worst enemy. We ordered an 18 inch plain cheese as well as Buffalo wings, and a caprese salad because Yelp said this place was "known" for its mootz.First, the pizza was absolutely horrendous, not only that we were charged 25$ dollars and it was sliced like the guy must have been drunk, or on drugs. Some slices were tiny while others were over sized, it was honestly comical. The pizza had absolutely NO FLAVOR, as though we were eating cardboard. We had to add salt to even be able to even attempt to eat a slice. Also please someone tell me HOW ON EARTH are pizza places out here in Tucson getting away with charging over even 15 dollars for a cheese pizza? Please tell me why? It's dough, sauce, and cheese all cheap ingredients, these places are damn near committing robbery of these poor people out here. Not only that it's all the worst pizza probably in the entire country and we have tried almost ALL the pizza spots out here and they ALL suck, period. The only places that are barely "okay" are Dominick's and Carusos but even they charge close to $25 for a cheese pizza. Even a rated 9 or 10 pizza out here would honestly not even be a 6 or 7 at most back home in NY/NJ, and that's being generous. The wings were an absolute joke, we asked for well done "crispy" wings and they were not at all well done and the box was full of grease and oil and the "buffalo sauce" they gave was disgusting. So we ended up having to recook our wings in our air fryer and I had to make a real Buffalo sauce from scratch, not only that they didn't even provide any blue cheese or anything to dip them in. Who serves Buffalo wings with no dip? At least even ranch or something would have been better than nothing. Finally the biggest joke of all was what they pass off as a "caprese salad" and "fresh" mootz. It was a few slices of the driest and most unflavored and unsalted terrible fresh mozzarella we have ever had. Normally most Italian places will add some basil, some oil, some balsamic glaze etc etc. Walter's gave us few slices of this terrible mootz on few half wedges of tomato on a bunch of old leaf chopped lettuce...absolutely pathetic.Overall wish I could give less than 1 star and we wasted over 60 dollars for a cheese pizza, wings, and salad and didn't eat almost any of it because it was so bad. Don't be fooled by the 4+/5 rating on Yelp, like most reviews out here in Tucson either they are fake or people have no idea what good food is or they just want to be nice instead of being honest and truly helping out other people coming to Yelp looking for good places to eat at or order from in Tucson.

The family and I checked out Walter's Pizzeria and was EXTREMELY pleased. We order 3 items and the portions were HUGE!!!!! Completely feed a family of 4 and had leftovers. I was stuffed!!!! ....and I'm a big boy!We got the Spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic Knots, Meat Lover's 10" Pizza, and a Pepperoni Sausage Mushroom Calzone with a side salad....at a total of $43 (you can't even feed a family of 4 McDonalds for that). The spaghetti sauce had so much flavor and was AMAZING!! I was scooping it up with my calzone. Couldn't get enough of it. The calzone was cooked to perfection. I've got them from other places were they weren't fully cooked through, but this was perfect. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Talked with the owner and found out everything down to the pasta, dough, sauces, etc are all made in house from scratch. If you haven't already checked them out, I highly recommend them. 11 out of 10!!!

Being from Jersey, I'm always quick to check out a pizza joint when I here it's "just like back east". I got a medium pie with sausage and pepperoni and some garlic knots. Gotta say, it's pretty damn good. Sauce on the pizza isn't too sweet, decent enough cheese and the meats were on point. Garlic knots were a bit on the small side considering they're 10 bucks an order. More importantly, since they're so small if you intend on saving em for later they WILL dry out on you. This is a relatively minor gripe though. All in all this is a solid pizzeria and I will be heading back for more.

Believe the lower reviews! I got all excited reading the "I'm from Jersey/east coast" reviews and thought, "Finally! Some GOOD pizza!" BIG NOPE! I'd always like to think getting food delivered vs eating inside the place would be different, but after eating this pizza, I can't be confident that would be the case. We got the cheese pizza, and the other reviewer was correct. It tasted old and reheated. No cheese pull at all. All the years I've been eating caprese salad, I never got it as an ACTUAL salad. So be aware of that when you order. This mootz came with some sliced tomatoes on a bed of lettuce. No basil or any other seasonings. Pretty disappointing. Homemade mozzarella? Tastes just like the sliced Belgoiosso you buy from the grocery store, but more dry. Bone in wings were ok, not well done like we asked and the buffalo sauce was not great- we made our own. Would not eat here again nor recommend it.

Not even a real pizza joint. Its a ghost kitchen ran out of American Eat Co. Don't waste your time, its comparable to a frozen pizza.
