I've fallen in love with reading again and the Pima County Public Library system has made it so easy.I look up books through their app, put them on hold, and run in when I get the email that they're ready for me at my closest library which is W. Anne Gibson. I walk in, easily find my book on the holds shelf with my name, check it out myself on the self checkout computer, and I'm out. Three minute process. It isn't too often they don't have a book I'm looking for in either hard copy or as an ebook, but you can also submit requests for them to acquire new books. The Libby app has been amazing for e-reading and audio books, I have a constant list of books on hold and keep a good stock of books on my Kindle too! The Kanopy app also seems great, like free Netflix, 5 movies allowed per month. I haven't used it much yet, can't wait to use it. At first glance I saw a lot of BBC programming I haven't seen on Netflix etc. There are a lot more digital media options available, music, tutoring..I haven't begun to touch it all. If you're like me and haven't utilized a library in years, don't count them out. Technology has removed so many accessibility barriers. You can apply for an ecard online for access to all of their digital media.
