Typical Dealership Games: I don't usually like going to dealers but really wanted a Volvo (my Saab was aging). I submitted inquiries on an older Volvo and through Costco program. My plan is to try out an older Volvo and get a newer one in a few years.I barely got any responses from different staff when I asked for an out the door price on the cheapest Volvo because I think they realized I was not going to be a big spender.Anyway, I gave up went in without an appointment. It took 15 minutes to learn the vehicle was not up to spec and was going to auction. The salesman did their usual dealer tap dance: What other vehicles are you wanting, what is your price range, what can I show you. It all was the sales push while ignoring that I was only present for one car, and they could call me if something else came. I sat through it for another 30 minutes, to get the feel of shopping again.I even told them I'll be back as a service client even if I don't buy from them, so they knew it was not a rush and I was looking for a relationship. I just wish dealers would give a price when asked, stop the going to managers and other efforts to make a deal today, rather than build a relationship. But this is how it goes. Anyway, I did get a car at a Phoenix Dealer (was only better because a deal was made), but I am reconsidering coming back to Tucson Volvo for service. Guess I will try and update later.Just to be clear, this was not a horrible experience, it was just a TYPICAL DEALERSHIP experience.

Ricardo Claure (sales) and Ammar Jafferi (finance) handled my transaction on my 2022 XC40. The transaction was smooth, not high pressure, and no up selling. Due to the microchip shortage there was another customer looking at the same Car I was negotiating on. It was literally the only XC40 on the lot.Instead of trying to use that as a tactic to sell me they actually assured me that it was nonissue and I was first in line and therefore had priority if we were able to conclude the deal. We negotiated the terms, Business as usual, without any pressure included on a price that was fair. They gave on their car and I gave on my trade which ultimately ended up in a decent deal given the climate of vehicle shortages. Ricardo was a wonderful sales advisor and I would recommend him to anyone. Ammar didn't try to upsell me. Or add anything to the deal. He was straightforward and honest. Which is exactly what I look for in a finance manager. They make a great teathat you should consider connecting with if you're in the market for a new Volvo!

Alright, you know the deal with dealerships, it's going to be a few hour event to get the deal done whether the place is good or crap. In Volvo's case, it was a very pleasant experience, especially after almost buying a different luxury vehicle, at a different dealership. We had a fully loaded VW Atlas and was very happy with that but man the '23 XC-90's are just amazing to drive. So, to the experience. Ricardo (sales), Marland (mgr?), and Ammar (finance) we're an absolute pleasure to work with. No blowing smoke, no time wasted, just taking care of our requirements in a vehicle and making the deal work for us. After totaling our favorite car a month ago and visiting many dealerships, I was just tired of the same BS. Seemed like everyone was okay with us settling and in the case of the xc90, we did not. Thanks again to Ricardo, Marland, and Ammar!!

We bought a used but in excellent condition Volvo XC90 from James. We bought the extended warranty for peace of mind but it wasn't disclosed to us that the deductible was $500 which is not common. That's really been only "snag" and it was rectified. Chris in service is also a pleasure to work with. We love the SUV and also have had a pretty stellar experience with dealership. 10/10 recommend.

Car dealers, you either love them of hate them. I had to use their service dept for a new car issue and everything went smoothly. That is probably because Volvo is a limited production car so the service people are not swamped with customers like other dealers with lines going out in the street. There is usually not a long line here which helps.In any case I had no issues, got a loaned car, and vehicle back next day.

Sadly, I did not buy a card from them as I really wanted to and the staff was really nice to go out of the way to let me test drive more than one car. But I had done my research prior online, which said that the car I wanted would be roughly $410 per month before taxes and fees. As usual with the cars that I've looked at the taxes and fees usually add $80-$100 but for some reason showed me a monthly payment of roughly $1200 a month for a two year lease on a $50-$60,000 car. Meanwhile, I can go get a $100,000 car for $300 less per month. Please do your research diligently before walking in there. I would've given this place one star if they weren't nice and took their time.

I can't say enough about the staff at Vovlo. Not only is this the second Volvo I have purchased from them, this is the 12th Volvo in my family..So there's NO DOUBTING the product!!!!From working with Scott and Carlos in the serivce dept. to meeting the new GM Nick who introduced me to Peter , top notch salesman..to show me what was on the lot, to getting the deal I wanted financially with Ammar........everything was above standard and a lot of laughing and joking on the way.....It's well worth a visit and spending time, if a Vovlo is what you are looking for........I can't say ENOUGH!

Jorge sold me my new Volvo in July 2023 and he is honestly the best salesman I'd ever met. He is genuine, sincere, caring, and honest. He was also patient; we had a lot of questions and he answered them. He helped me set up the CarPlay stuff once I bought it.
