Cool place. Knowledgeable folks. Good wine. Great whiskey. Most of the wineries down here are fun places to visit but many haven't been around for too long. V of E had been around forever and that shows in the quality of their products.

The wine tasting room is super cozy, with a sofa, some chairs and tables. The lady helping us was very informative with the wine. They even brought out some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies! I'm not a wine pairing expert but anything tastes better with cookies. :) We're there around 10am so it's pretty relaxing. I can see this place getting packed.

we were supposed to be horseback riding today near Benson. unfortunately it got canceled. we looked for something to do and decided to go wine tasting. we decided on Elgin based on reviews. when we arrived, we were a little suprised at the appearance. bit what we expected. we entered the gate and discovered a nice tasting/gathering area. enjoyed the friendly server. She was knowledgeable about the wines and the spirits. she had good recommendations based on our preferences. Holiday red was a hit among our group. The Monkey wines were good as well. I tasted the whiskeys. Definitely know what they are doing in distilling. we had a great time and plan on

I do love their wine, prob the best in the area. I just wish they had more space in the tasting room and a better/cleaner outside area for those nice days. We purchased a bottle of their seasonal mulled wine...it was good, but tasted better at the actual winery for some reason. The server was very friendly, esp with the full crowd she had! Would come here again.

There are no words. I'm not a 'Richard', and I'm ok with that. As a kind, respectful person, I appreciate the feedback others leave on Yelp. I'm following suit,

Stopped at a few wineries while going through the area, this was by far the best. The wine selection was larger and you got to choose based on what you liked, not just a set order/type. Susie was super awesome, very knowledgeable, and really made the experience enjoyable! Also kudos to the fact that while the bathroom Options is a port a potty, it is the cleanest one I've ever used and even smelled fresh. Would definitely recommend this winery!

I have been going to the Village of Elgin regularly for a number of years and I really have no idea how anyone can give them a bad review. Their staff is friendly knowledgeable and accommodating, they have wines for every taste bud as well as spirits. This is the oldest winery in that area and it has lots of history.

I had a great time at this place. The wine was amazing. So many great selections of sweet wine, which is my personal favorite. The staff was helpful, friendly, and made sure to tell you about each wine you were given. The prices are really fair! Every wine I tried I absolutely loved (I only had the sweet wines and sangria) We took home two bottles of Sangria and two wine glasses plus a great experience. We will definitely come back to enjoy some more delicious wine!

I've visited here a few times on various trips to Sonoita. If you have a group of people who like different things; i.e., some like sweet and some like dry, this is a good stop. If you're here around Thanksgiving/Christmas, buy their gluhwein. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It's the best I've had, and I'm not even a huge fan of mulled wine. They steep it for a full year, so it has that great spicy profile but isn't overly sweet. They make one barrel, so it does sell out. I've tried a number of their other wines, Tombstone and the Four Monkey line, and they're alright. I haven't found something I like enough to take home, besides the gluhwein. Their wines are probably the most widely available in the state as far as retail goes. I've seen them in Total Wine, Whole Foods, and other stores. Staff I've encountered have been cool. They also have spirits, but that's not really my thing, so I haven't tried any.
