Three stars because of the location. Near Sabino Canyon and a beautiful area of Tucson. However, the apartments themselves are very sad, tiny dark little apartments that have not been updated in....I don't know it looks like 30 years or something. Dirty , stained cheap brown carpet that is wrinkling in many places The sink and tub are just so old. They can't be cleaned anymore. Crusty and dirty looking. The apartment I looked at was so close to Kolb Rd, the noise from the traffic was constant . Another case of a beautiful location that is horribly mismanaged unfortunately. This property has so much potential. Sad that nobody cares about it.

worst management experience I've ever had to deal with for my living situation. They knew about a very rude downstairs neighbor, who continually harassed my roommate and I. The worst part is they withheld this info from us until it got so bad we had to work out a deal to end our lease early. The community at this location is beautiful, but This neighbor was a detriment to everyone surrounding him, and the fact the management did nothing about it was extremely disappointing.

I love this place. Quiet, calm, not a lot of kids. Great views. Pool is heated! Gym has great machines. Everyone in this community is nice. At least everyone I met. Very friendly community. Close to everything and great restaurants!

These are glorified apartments. they have been bought out by people that live out of state, so your landlord, if you were a tenant, we are leasees this as a vacation rental or a short term lease. These condos are mainly managed by a leasing management company called Vista Point Properties (off Campbell Rd- so not on site.) The HOA that is on site occasionally, although they take a lot of breaks so frequently have a sign on their door that says they'll be back within an hour or two, has changed many times. They've changed 3 or more times just since I've lived here. Their pool is constantly closed. It's been closed the entire summer. It is still closed as of today, mid July- with a sign that states: "closed until further notice." Surrounding complexes all have their pools open. For whatever reason, this complex can't figure out how to manage a pool safely. They cannot figure out how to take the proper measures to do so. It blows my mind how slow some people are. Or perhaps they're just lazy. Either way, lazy or stupid isn't a great way to run a business. I don't recommend this place. They're also moving over to these just been short term rentals. Month month or three month max. So they'll be a lot of turnover. They don't give notices for when they're coming over, or when they're going to be doing work on your building. The water may be turned off, there might be roofing repairs, and you will have no notice.Welcome to Tucson; not the highest IQ of people here.

This complex is literally a walking distance from Ventana Canyon, and Sabino Canyon is about a 5-minute drive. There's a CVS, Dominos pizza, and gas station that's right next to it and proved to be pretty convenient. Also, across the street is Basha's grocers and Risky Business. So really, everything that you basically need is just a walk away. Trish is one of the apartment managers who is very knowledgeable and probably your best bet to go to of you have anything wrong with your unit. I hardly dealt with the other manager to even comment on how he handles things. Their service workers are pretty quick too, and I never had to wait more than a couple days to get things fixed around my area. The greatest thing about this place is that the pictures you see on their website is LITERALLY what you get there. There's no beautification work, no ugly hidden areas... It is THAT nice there. Unfortunately, it got a little too pricey for me and the distance to work wasn't very ideal for me. The rent is pretty much worth its value, I would really recommend this place to newcomers.

I am a homeowner for six years at this complex and we have NEVER seen any scorpions inside or outside our unit at the complex , nor have any of our neighbors reported any sightings or infestation by scorpions . We have invested in extensive improvements / upgrades and consider our upstairs three bedroom two bath unit a prime unit .We know the entire complex is clean, well maintained, well managed and a five minute drive to restaurants, health clubs, multiple amenities, and Sabino Canyon....and the HOA was extremely strict with restrictions during Covid ; maintenance and pest control has been consistent and professional.I feel completely safe here in this clean well maintained property. This is great place to live and vacation!

We love Veranda at Ventana. The on site management company is great. We have managed condos there for years (Solterra Realty LLC) and have not had issues with pests. The community is well kept and managed. Kimber Leefers, Designated Broker, Solterra Realty LLC.

I've lived here for several years and like another reviewer stated, it really is as beautiful as the pictures show and it is definitely worth the rent price. The grounds, pool, gym, and location are all amazing. Some of the units haven't been updated since they were first built, but the layouts are great so living here is still worth it, in my opinion. Plus, if you are renting or buying, you can easily search around and find a unit that has all or most of what you're looking for in terms of updates. My biggest complaints about living here are 1) the scorpions and 2) the constant management changes. I have lived in two different units in this neighborhood and have found no fewer than three scorpions inside my unit per year. I get regular pest control, but it doesn't help much (I recently stepped on a scorpion barefoot...eek). My neighbors tell me they haven't seen scorpions in their units, but even my friends and family have trouble seeing a scorpion when there's one right in front of them so I think other residents have scorpions and just don't realize it. I really think the management company needs to seal up cracks in the foundation and doorways of the units to help keep scorpions away. It could also help to plant lavender around the buildings because scorpions hate that. In terms of the management, we've had about 5 property managers in the time I've lived here and three of those have been in the last year. I think the company they have hired to take care of the property management is lacking quality people to staff the office. The managers we had in my first few years living here were great and recently the management has gotten better than what we had a year ago so hopefully they're on an upswing. In spite of the problems I've mentioned, I do really enjoy living here and I highly recommend taking the plunge if you're thinking of moving in.
