Vail Academy and High School

Where to start the teaching for middle school are horrific, not all but a few! The way staff and teachers talk to their students, the struggles my kids have gone through it's ridiculous. The assistant principal of absolutely no help! Once your kids is in the office for something, that's it they are a target. It's like if he doesn't walk in a straight line he's in trouble it's NOT MILITARY SCHOOL . This is not a friendly environment at all. My daughter had these problems but once in high school and not having to deal with these teachers she made tremendous progress and is an A+ student. Vail academy does not have the best interest of the students it's always to cover up what the teacher is doing. No progress had been made despite the endless calls to the school.

Vail Academy and High School is unlike any other school in the area. We are a small learning community of approximately 500 students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our history dates back to 1997 when Vail Charter High School was opened as the first high school in Vail. For many years VHS was the smallest high school choice for families in our district. In July 2010, a beautiful new site opened its doors as Vail Academy and High School. We are committed to encouraging high academic and social achievement. As a STEM school we emphasize science, technology, engineering, and math. We do all we can, everyday, to expose all of our students to the very best education has to offer. As a new addition to the many excelling schools in the Vail District, we had a lot to prove last year when we opened. And we have!
