Urology Care

This is for last Tuesday, 2/19/19. Sorry for the delay, I'm old and fat, what do you want from me?I was in to see JoAnna on a follow up. The office is jumping, packed with clients. One in particular cant stop complaining on how long she's been there and waiting to be seen. I get it, we all have things to do and sitting on our asses reading magazines isn't the thing we want to do. What she failed to recognize is that ALL these ladies were busting their buts to get patients in and on time. Guess what, sometimes a 8 minute appointment turns into a 40 minute one and a 40 minute appointment can turn into a 8 minute one. From the front office staff, nurses, MA's to Dr. Bernstein, JoAnna, Peg and Michelle, they were working there buts off. They were not in the back making balloon animals, they were working to take care of their patents. I felt compelled to apologize for this woman's behavior on behalf of the human race. If the worse thing that happens to you is waiting a hour to see a medical professional, your life is pretty freaking good!The ladies at Urology Care ROCK!

People here are nice, the treatment was somewhat effective, but the wait times are unreasonable. I waited one hour ffor my appointment, then walked out. I drive one hour to eachh weekly appointment. So I go I've myself lots of leeway, but I make other appointments while in Tucson. Waiting one hour to receive my treatment is way out of line!

I had been to another urologist prior to seeing Dr. Bernstein but did not trust that person to continue care with them. Having this negative experience, made me appreciate Dr. Bernstein's compassion, knowledge and ultimately her surgical skill that much more. The quality of my life has completely changed and I am so thankful for Dr. Bernstein!!

If you have a uti and want antibiotics promptly, choose another provider. This one makes you wait 3-5 days for culture to come back! I find this cruel and dangerous, not to mention painful!!

Deplorable! First appointment: The provider, Jennifer, was snippy and accused me of lying about my medical history, although I was telling the truth. Then, she did not address my concerns. Two weeks later, I got a UTI. They microscopically verified an infection but would not start antibiotics, although I am high risk. They lied, saying the on-call doctor would call me and prescribe antibiotics if the lab results came in over the weekend. Saturday, the results were in ― no call. I wrote them through the patient portal and provided a PDF of the lab results. Sunday, I called their answering service, who called back, saying the on-call doctor does not provide prescriptions to Dr. Bernstein's patients. Monday, day five of UTI, still no antibiotics! I contacted my PC, who prescribed an antibiotic. I returned to the patient portal and told Urology Care to forget about prescribing antibiotics and cancel all my future appointments. They called, saying they were going to prescribe an antibiotic but were waiting for the lab results. Nonsense! I sent the lab results to them over the weekend via the patient portal. Bottom line: They accused me of lying, didn't address my concerns, then lied to me twice, and left me without care. Despicable!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I would not recommend Urology Care as their staff are incompetent. I will make sure to let others know to avoid this place.

This is the second time I've not been able to get my lab test results from the office of Dr. Bernstein. For one reason or another I seem to miss their initial call, and when I call back asking for the results no one and I mean no one ever returns my call. The first time I made multiple calls in an attempt to know my results but this time I said forget it I'm done being disrespected. They obviously are showing they have no concern for my health.
