They serve beer

I love this place! The owners are super nice, you get greeted as soon as you walk in. The prices are beyond reasonable, only 5 bucks for a movie. The place is small, as the name suggests it has three screens. The snack bar has all the standards but it also has BOOZE! That is right, they have beer, wine, and a selection of cocktails which are usually themed on movies (for example, for Endgame, they had drinks named after characters like Hulk). The theaters themselves are what you expect, plenty of seats, HD projectors, surround sound, etc. Some people complain about the musty smell in the theaters themselves, but it doesn't bother me, some people just like to complain, it is an older building is all.I wish more people would visit this gem. It is cheaper than the mall theater, more personality, and the AIT kids don't know about it, so you don't have to worry about it being too packed.

If you live in the Sierra Vista area and have not watched a movie at the Uptown you are missing a very nice experience at a locally owned business. It was a cold day so we decided to give this place a try. They were playing the Green Book which we have been looking forward to seeing. We walked in and were greeted by the owner, a very personable guy. He showed us what was available from the concession stand. They have all kinds of different foods like Hot Dogs, in addition to the usual popcorn, candy and drinks. They also serve a variety of wind and beer. We paid $5 each for the matinee and went in to the theatre. What a pleasant surprise, the floors were spotless(not sticky like most places) and so were the chairs. We sat back and enjoyed a very good movie. You should give it a try.

I remember when uptown was built, it was the hottest new place in town! I've seen so many amazing movies here! It's still one of my favorite places!

This place appreciates your business and let's you know it each time you go. Staff has never been anything but welcoming and pleasant. Food has always been hot. Wine and beer are on menu as well. Restrooms have been kept tidy when we've gone. They do have fun special screenings and events here and there. They are smaller than the mall theater and have just three screens, so options can be limited. And being that this place is significantly smaller and locally owned, people who go expecting large, national chain amenities and budget will be disappointed but that's their own damn fault.

I only give 1-star ratings when they are well deserved and this place went above and beyond to achieve this 1-star review from me. To the owners of this establishment: I'm very impressed that you've managed to keep this dump of a place operational for more than a day. I'm embarrassed for you...Within 5 seconds of walking into this pathetic excuse of a movie theater I was ready to walk out. Inside was run down and a ghost town with no one in sight, besides a heavy set gentleman passed out in the far corner, snoring. I wasn't sure if this place was even open, but there was a note written on college rule 8.5"x11" loose leaf piece of paper that read: "I'm by the crawler" ... The place is plagued by poor ownership and the lack of care and attention to operating this business is very prevalent. It looks like they converted an abandoned bank into a theater, put a popcorn stand in the middle and prayed people would just show up. To anyone in the Sierra Vista area considering to go to the movies, avoid this place at all cost, do yourself a favor and either go down the street to the Cinemark Theater or drive the extra 1.5hour to Tucson and go to the movies there instead. A tip for the owners, if you don't like 1-star ratings don't give 1-star efforts in running a business.

My son and I have been enjoying the FREE SUMMER MOVIES at this quaint little theater. The couple that run this establishment are laid back, super nice, and super friendly. All prices are reasonable, and by purchasing the large popcorn for $6 you also get 1 free refill with that. I haven't taken advantage of it yetbut they sale alcohol also. I have to say, when my boyfriend and I moved here in October of last year, it is very refreshing to meet such friendly people in this town, We/ I, continue to feel very welcome

Absolutely amazing, friendly staff. The facilities are nice, and there is room for everyone! Family owned and operated, they make everyone feel welcome. Fairly priced in both ticket sales and the snack sales. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to get away from the big crowds and unfriendly service of the chain movie theaters!

I can remember when this building was the Sunshine Market and next door was a gym. Look, the owners worked hard to get this place up and running. They got a liquor license and BAM COVID hits and shuts them down. Yeah, you wanna blame someone, blame the POS health department here in Cochise County for shutting down certain businesses but not others. I hear you all giving negative reviews, but at least they tried and managed to stay around for a number of years before they finally could not come back from the bullshit lockdowns and crap govt agencies put everyone through!

Supporting local business is important, but local business owners should also respect their customers by keeping a clean establishment, food ready, working equipment... Especially when they are asking customers for help and support. Went in twice over past two months, watched first showings both times, and both times all trash cans were overflowing, popcorn and wrappings on floors, no food, popcorn or ice available right away. Bathrooms were filthy and also overflowing trash. Sanitization is essential, especially now. Take care of your customers and the community will take care of you. This is truly disappointing.
