They were so helpful in finding a solution inmaking the lamp work in our Mitsubishi TV. They took their time in solving the problem and their prices were very reasonable. Appreciated all they did in making our TV work again!

Just had an excellent interaction with a Vizio 55 inch flat screen. No picture. Took it in Saturday and returned on Tuesday. Needed a power supply board and the service was fast and quite reasonably priced.

Absolutely terrible experience. The owner was a very rude man made a racist remark when I asked for a better price than the $300 he was attempting to charge for me for a CRTV from the 90's.

I have a 14 year old Plasma 50". I love this set and always have. This is the 2nd time I've had it fixed in the last 5 years. The 2nd time I took it to Universal and so far, I'm glad I did. It's a heavy set, but I decided to take it in myself to save the $85.00 fee for pick up. I also picked it up myself. The guy that does the repairs, the owner, also help't me load and unload the tv. He had to order a board for the Samsung so it took a week before I could pick it up. He also found something wrong with the first module I had repaired somewhere else. So, for less than half I paid for the first repair, Universal fixed my tv right. The picture is better than it's been in years and the old picture before the repair was pretty good. I would suggest this shop for repairs.

Very competent. Small initial fee to diagnose a TV problem, which is applied to the repair cost. My TV had no picture. It was diagnosed and repairs made and is now functioning fine. Diagnosis and repair took less time than expected. I will bring more work in when needed.

I took an old model Magnavox DVD player-recorder here when it died after my neighborhood had a flickering power outage. In a couple of days, I got an acceptable quote for the repair. I picked up a fully repaired machine in a week from the drop off date, at the price quoted. That was a reasonable wait time because he stays busy in a small shop. I would recommend Universal TV Repair to friends.

Would give zero stars if I could...Tv required no parts and very little work, I would have done it myself if I had a little more time. It took Sam over two weeks to return my TV to me, and he charged nearly 200 dollars. When I first gave the television to him he said he would give me a call in 3 days, he did not. I had to call him and leave him a message to track him down. This continued for the duration of the repairs and I received no information until he finally finished the repairs. On the day the repairs were finished he asked me what time works best for me to pick up the television, I told him I wouldn't be off work until 5, and it would take me around a half hour to get to the shop, and he said that was fine. I arrived at about 5:33 due to a little traffic on the way, and he was gone for the day, after a phone call he explained how he had left for the day right at 5:30 and I would have to come back another day. This is compounded by the fact that his website clearly states his operating hours are 8am - 6pm. An awful experience all in all, do not be fooled by http://tucsontvrepair.com/ this business is extremely unprofessional and the repairs within his skill are few.

I do not recommend this place! Horrible business. Owner says you can return a part if it doesn't work and get a refund. Hours of business are false. Would not give me a refund I wasted $145. He offered to buy the part back for only $50.

Sam must have changed his ways as the service he provided was superior to his competition. He does know what he is doing, and because his is a small shop, and he does make house calls from time to time, his shop is closed when he is on a call. Best to call him firat as he does keep appointments at the shop. Because my TV is an old 61" rear projection Sony, he needed to come here to service it. I had explained the cycling shutoff problem I was having and when he arrived, he had a new lamp for the TV. That fixed the problem and he charged his regular price for a service call and $95 for the new lamp. Not of his fault, the lamp only worked for a week and then the TV went back to the auto shutoff. When told of this, Sam immediately ordered another lamp on a Saturday and he was back at my house Tuesday morning after calling Monday afternoon that he had received the lamp. He had it installed within ten minutes and the TV works fine. I would recommend him for his knowledge and if you work within his small shop parameters, it is not a bad process.
