Bruise from botched blood draw on my teen daughter.

My teen daughter went to see a provider here. The provider ordered labs. Since they do labs in the office, she had her blood drawn by the medical assistant. My daughter has had her blood drawn several times, but this woman obviously didn't know what she was doing. She poked my daughter's arm, made her bleed out, and bruised her arm. When my daughter told them that she had pain shooting up her arm, the medical assistant and the provider just told her that pain is normal with blood tests. This type of treatment is not acceptable. Patients need to be treated with dignity and respect: no matter their age.

I thought I was going to be seen by a Physician and instead was seen by a nurse practitioner----I had specifically requested to be seen by a doctor. I am on a blood thinner (now for 25 years for an irregular heart rhythm)---I had some concerns about being on this and asked if I could be changed to a different more modern blood thinner that I heard about so I don't have to be tested on my blood every week---she stated that she didn't feel comfortable doing this and would send me to a cardiologist. I saw an internal medicine doctor in Tucson (~22 miles away) 2 weeks later and was immediately switched to something else and I saw her on follow up 3 weeks later. Everything is fine. I guess they can only see patients who has a sore throat of a symptomatic hang nail or something simple. I recommend that patients NOT go to this clinic unless you don't have any other choice (ie, don't have insurance, etc,). Don't waste your time and place your health as risk.

Place is very warm friendly and inviting. Staff work as a team. Care given was excellent and was not rushed.

My wife and I both called to try and set up appointments at this clinic. No one was there to take our calls, and we left messages to get a return call.No one returned our calls.I finally went to the facility to try and schedule. While I was waiting in line, two other patients were discussing the same problem. IE no one returned their calls. This is no way to run a business if customer satisfaction is an issue.Perhaps they are busy enough that they just don't care.

I was openly discriminated against by a women's health care provider at United Community Health Care in Green Valley. I was told that because I'm a man, I have no say or rights regarding my minor daughter's reproductive health care.

This place is its own worst enemy. Want to renew a prescription you are out of? Takes 3 to 5 days. Need a referral for a specialist or MRI? At least a week. Want to see your PCP. Be sure to call 6 months in advance. Want to speak to your PCP about an X-ray or MRI? forget it! Won't happen.

This place is beyond awful. Dr. Jimenez was the only good part of this place (he was wonderful), and unfortunately left to go to another practice (and I don't blame him). I was appointed a new doctor (PA), saw him once, and he left. For the one time I saw him, he had failed to order blood work prior to my visit. Although the office staff is relatively polite - incompetent would be the best description. They do not return phone calls (multiple times over the years). I once went in to make an appointment in person. Arrived about 7:55 a.m. and stood at the "wait here" sign. The male receptionist came and sat down at the reception desk. It appeared he was perhaps logging onto his computer. I waited and waited. Finally, at 8:15 I went ahead and stepped forward to the desk. He had his phone in his lap and was busy texting. When he realized I was watching him, he quickly put it away and asked how he could help me. Another time I was there for a physical. A different receptionist insisted upon check-in that I did not owe a co-pay although I new I did. Yes, I got a bill for the co-pay a couple of weeks later. I stopped by the office with a check to make the payment. Yet another receptionist was assisting me. As she was processing my bill/payment she was looking very puzzled. She finally asked me, "how do I find the check number on a check?" And these are people running the office? Why would anyone entrust their healthcare to this sort of falderal. There's even far more which I will skip over. Bottom line - this sort of nonsense is allowed to continue by the office manager(s) and board of directors. And we, and our insurance companies are the ones paying for this nonsense.

I've called and left messages with them and never a return call back. I tried 8 times and left messages at various UCHC offices. Never a return call. WTF???

This organization is awful. I was diagnosed with cancer and needed a referral for some additional testing. Nobody calls you back. It took a week to get a referral only to find out they ordered it wrong and sent it back. Now I can't get anyone on the phone to find out if they received it back and are fixing it. I always get voicemail regardless of what number I call. I left voicemails, but no call backs. So I finally tried their patient advocacy line and, guess what? VOICEMAIL! These people are a joke. I wouldn't trust them at this point to take care of my dog much less a person with a serious medical condition.

If your child is sick, running fever, needs to be seen... don't count on this place. Every time my child is sick and we call to get them seen we are told they have no appts. Every time. This last time we were told to wait 3 days to bring him in. called another healthcare provider who we are not even patient with and they took us in immediately. my son ended up having strep throat and was placed on antibiotics. All this place cares about is you wearing masks and making you waiting in your car. Not actually treating you when you need them. Horrible healthcare.
