Twisted Indian

Expectations were low since i was at gas station. I cant begin to describe how flavorful my food was. My naan was warm and fluffy, the masala was seasoned to perfection and my samosas were moist and delicious. I just learned that great food can come out of the most surprising places!!10/10 recommend!

I don't know what I expected but indeed this is an Indian restaurant in a gas station where you would expect to find some kind of "Pizza2Go" or something at the back of the quickie mart. And the food was, without hyperbole, outstanding. I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala as hot as they were willing to make it and it delivered (spice fans take note). The gravy was full of visible spices and even a little chunk of bay leaf. It was creamy, a little decadent, and flavorful with just the slightest hint of acidity (brightness). I am not sure how this could be improved. Like I wouldn't change a thing. I also ordered some vegetable samosas which were great!This is one of the strangest but most pleasant surprises I have encountered in Tucson. There are a lot of fancier places which aren't anywhere as good. There are some tables to sit down if you want to eat there. I got mine to go. I will definitely be returning. If you don't live nearby it is worth the drive and easy to get to.

Hidden gem indeed! This eatery is serving up delicious Indian food inside the Chevron of all places. It's quickly become THE favored place for take out amongst my husband and his colleagues who work nearby. The chicken tikka masala with naan is our go-to order. The food is flavor packed and always delicious. The portions are just right. Not quite oversized for sharing but filling for a solo meal.

So I gave a five because the food was SO damn good. But originally I was going to give a four because I tried to order the chicken tikka pizza, which I saw on the online menus, and then they said the menu had changed I got regular chicken tikka masala instead and it was the best I ever had. They let you choose your spice level (I got spicy of course) and I was in love. Comes with rice too.I do not at all care that it is in a gas station, I got it to go.

If you're looking for fresh delicious spicy yet extremely flavorful food Twisted Indian is the place for you!Located within in the Chevron gas station on Ajo right off the exit, you may think a gas station, yes & it's amazing clean seating area welcoming & friendly staff.Food prepared fresh & to order allowing you to select your spice level.The chicken Tikka Masala was some of the best I've had in town. Don't forget the tasty garlic naan Looking forward to returning to try a lot more of there entrees

This place is inside the gas station.. we drove around it at least twice before figuring it out. The food was ac pretty good. The mango lasso was a good portion and tasty. Samosas were quite good. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet, but ok.and the garlic naan was good and a large portion. Ambiance wasn't great being inside the gas station, but I guess it works for them. They seemed to have a good carry out business.

I honestly wasn't expecting much. I came here on my lunch break. They give discounts to medical professionals and a few others that I can't recall. There is space to seat down but of course you are in a gas station so there's some in and out traffic. The service was polite and quick. They accept call in orders and orders for large groups. Great during the lunch hour. They gave me two utensils but one was opened. They also gave me two plates and I greatly appreciated that. The food was very good. The chicken was fantastic and full of flavor and garlic naan was very tasty.

Wonderful food! Friendly service! The portions were decent too. Our favorite was the chicken tikka masala. So good!! Highly recommend this little place

Indian food in a gas station? In Tucson?!?!! YES!I haven't had food like this since Mati's Express shut down. Great selection of items and LOTS of options for vegetarians. Lunch for 3 with an appetizer, roti/naan and three entrees was $80. And plenty of leftovers for at least two more meals. We had Chicken Tikka Massala, Chani Massala and Shahai Paneer. Flavors were rich and the portions large. The Roti and Naan were on the oily side, I'd probably stick with the rice next time. We ordered the chani massala spicy and it was delicious. Right in the sweet spot of kick and flavor.Mint and tamarind chutneys, not spicy, were available on request. You can buy your choice of beverage from the Chevron.Not the fanciest meal or location, but the food was so good I dug in before pictures.

Who would have thought a restaurant inside of Chevron Station.. But it's true.. Great food and naan.. and service with a smile
