I've gone here for my eye exams since 2021. This year I attempted to change an appointment. Called twice left two messages. Never received a call back. Sent a text to cancel the appointment and they did respond via text. Decided not to go back and seeing another eye doctor to whom I can actually speak with on the phone.

Took my 15 year old to get her eyes examined here. They were quick and efficient. They have a newer electronic machine that is not like the conventional "better here or here" "one or two " approach. The machine also provides distancing because it is controlled by computer not the doctor moving different lenses around. It seems he was still learning it a bit but the results were interesting . Prescription was a bit different than previous exams. She got her glasses made elsewhere their timing was 4 weeks for glasses. She's had her glasses for almost a month now and likes the prescription.

This optometry clinic has been one of the best I have ever seen.The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. (Magaly, Adriana, and Kristen).Dr. Jacob Hiscox did an excellent job during my new routine eye exam.If you can... ask for Ms. Magaly Loera at the front desk. She had been such a wonderful help in explaining to me the breakdown of the options and costs for my prescription.It's been nearly almost 7 months since I had my new set of prescription eyeglasses (did it with them around valentines day Feb 14 this year....{hey I got to love my eyes a lot...LOL}).... and my new set of eyeglasses are still helping me appreciate the beauty that surrounds me.

"Dr. Jake" was awkward in greeting me for the first time and wouldn't even refer to me by name during the whole appointment. He was constantly pulled away to another patient during my eye exam and seemed overbooked that afternoon. The phoropter (the thing with the lenses) seemed like it was from the 80's and the exam room wasn't even properly darkened. He had no interest in checking the health of my eyes and doing standard procedures which is necessary for my advanced astigmatism. My eye exam was a total mess that he couldn't even finish because my eyes were "too dry" to get a proper reading. I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and minimized so I disregarded their request for me to come back in two weeks and saw another eye doctor that same week and was totally fine. Save your time and see someone else who at the very least has updated equipment and a better bedside manner!

The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. The waiting room and exam room is very clean. Dr. Jacob Hiscox is thorough, friendly and funny. No one tries to pressure you into buying your glasses there. They seem to understand that most people want to prescription to get glasses elsewhere. This is the only place I'll ever go for eye exams!
