Tucson Mountain Stables

Our family went on a 1.5 hour sunset ride the week after Christmas and the weather was perfect and the view of the mountains and sunset were phenomenal! The horses were well trained and easy to mount and dismount. The ride leader was friendly and gave good instructions. We had ages 9, 12 and adults. Everyone had so much fun!

We had such a great time! We will definitely be back again. First time riders and they took very good care of us. Very patient and attentive. The horses were very nice and not aggressive at all.

I cannot recommend this place enough. From start to finish, everything was fantastic. I called the day before to make a reservation and Bob got everything squared away. I arrived a little bit early and my guide was getting the horses ready. Mystery, my guide, was very personable, knowledgeable about the local vegetation and surroundings and so informative. One can easily see her love and deep interest in horses. She is so patient and truly helps you feel comfortable. My two hour trail ride took us up a mountain. Nearly 3000 feet and what a view! It was a bit breathtaking- I wouldn't say scary because the horses were comfortable with the trail and Mystery was a confident guide. This was for sure a bucket list adventure and I would love to go back and ride with them again!

What a fun ride!! My husband and I went on a 2 hr ride over the mountain and through the desert with Angelina as our guide and we had a BLAST!!!!!! The horses are so well cared for and spectacularly sure footed. We highly recommend this ride when you are in Tucson.

Great ride with a terrific guide Kirsten, and sweet horse Romeo.Both were perfect for a one hour relaxing ride in a spectacular location. Highly recommended.

This place is great! Took a 2 hour ride and it was absolutely beautiful. Amazing views and the horses are extremely well behaved! I will note that they do not provide water so if you go on a longer ride or it's hot out, wear a camelback with water or bring a bottle to carry! Will for sure be back!

Best riding in Tucson beautiful views and beautiful horses. The guides are awesome. Cannot wait for cooler weather days to go again

We had a beauty sunset ride with our guide, Gloria. Very peaceful and our horses did a great job. Price was great for 5 of us. We will be back!! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful trail ride.

We had an AWESOME sunset ride. Laura was our guide and was fantastic. She stopped at several points along the way to take photos. She explained a lot of about the plants and wildlife. We found Tucson Mountain Stables on Yelp, called and was able to book the same day. We could not have been happier. Thank you for a beautiful, fantastic, safe, tour!

Wish I could give it 10 stars. Best horse ride I've ever been on. The scenery is amazing and the horses are so easy to ride. Our guide was awesome, too. Best spot in Tucson
