Target practice at this outdoor shooting range was so much fun and very inexpensive. The entrance fee it's like $8 (one-day pass per person) and you can purchase paper targets if you don't have any for like .25-.50 cents each. Two hours go by really quick when you are having so much fun. You can stay as long as you want during the open hours with the one-day pass. The safety instructors are very nice and they can also provide instructions if you are new to this like I am. LOL. They have 12 lanes and two people at each station. Bring your own ammunition and weapon/gun since they don't provide one. Great location with stunning views of the mountains in the background.

Our second time here. We enjoyed it so much cause people who runs the range are very nice. And it's a smaller crowd. This will be our go-to place when it comes to firing our guns. A good recreational activity with all my boys.

Super friendly staff. It's not a big range as far as shooting stations and the max distance is 100 yards so if you need to sight something in beyond that this isn't your spot. For the average plinker and gun enthusiasts this place will do just fine. I like the fact that it's not overloaded with stations and shooters. That makes it more relaxing and a whole lot less noisy. The price is great. $6 gets you all the shooting you can handle. The sell targets and offer eye and ear protection. You will need to bring your own ammo and they do not rent guns. No shotguns and no 50BMG.

Captain Ranger shot my shoot day and my good mood to hell today. I had a productive weekend zeroing in my AK47 & AR15 and I was set to head out but wanted to pick up my brass as I give it to anyone who reloads 76.2x39 or 300 Blackout. Armed with a broom and dustpan I was confronted by young Captain Ranger who barked for me to step behind the yellow line where my brass wasn't. Okay jerk face, get it yourself. Not a pleasant encounter. Be nice dude and don't let your attitude f-up my otherwise nice shooting weekend. Everyone else was beyond helpful, but then you got "this guy" Hopefully he isn't there anymore.

My first time at this range . They have so many instructions and spend most of their time yelling at you or each other and if you do something that they see as infraction they single you out and make the rest of your time miserable . I'm a Veitnam Vet and over the years have shot at many pistol and rifle ranges and have never so disrespected. They can save the macho attitude !

If you're looking for a shooting range where the instructors breathe down your neck, babysit you, and walk up and down the safety line to ensure you know what you're doing, then this range is for you. There is no doubt that gun safety is the utmost priority, however, there is a fine bright line between babysitting an individual who acquires knowledge concerning firearm safety and protection, and making sure people are following the rules. Therefore, these instructors are practically babysitting you and yelling at you as if you don't know what you're doing. Thus, the range safety's acquire this perception that they're some sort of "special forces, CAG, sniper, operator, type of instructors". Especially being a regular at the range, I don't like the fact that instructors are breathing down your neck. 98% of us shooters, know what we're doing especially if we have taken firearm safety courses, acquire prior experience and knowledge, and attend multiple AZ game and fish certifications and licensing. In addition, I suggest these instructors to work on their professionalism, customer service, and perhaps seeking certification from an NRA Range Safety Officer course. For example, when calling a cease fire and providing instructions, you should ensure all of your customers are paying attention to the commands and instructions the range safety is giving, especially so they understand what is going on. Most of the time, the customers are not paying attention; therefore, this clearly raises a safety issue. I appreciate this range allowing me to fire my firearm here; however, I'd prefer to take my business elsewhere, where I'm treated with respect and like a human being.
