Two weeks after they replaced my starter (and gouging me $950), I'm having the same issue. The battery was replaced in September.

Oh man Oh man where do i begin? first off....f all of them. Well, i took my car in knowing beforehand it had issues. I opted for the mandatory diagnostic fee of 170.00 (high AF of course) to see what else may be wrong with the car. Well, the quote they came back with was well over $7,000. The main issue was a timing chain. Anyhwere else, this job costs $1200-1400. BUUUUT of course at good ol' Mini they quoted that job at $3,000 parts online total $250, i got charged over 1K. also, the car was overheating and thermostat housing was supposedly "bad"....it isnt. They were trying to charge $980 to change that. Parts online cost $80....at MINI? $600. the system needed to be bled of air, and it needed oil. hasnt overheated since..Another scam is that my oil filter housing is bad and leaking....it isnt. Just had oil from the last change all over the bottom of car, But they wanted $1400 to fix that when parts are only $75. greedy tech labor costs. I have NO OIL LEAKS whatsoever! When they did my timing chain....all kinds of bolts were missing becuase i did a belt change myself (they wanted $300...belt costs $10) and found where they took stuff off, but never put tuff back on. Finally, i need 6 new shifter solenoids. These are $200 to buy...buuuuuut good ol MINI says that "you CANNOT just replace the solenoids...you have to buy the ENTIRE valve body...its only $3200!!" GTFOH BIH! YES, YOU CAN replace JUST the solenoids! Look online! They are SCAMMERS to the HIGHEST degree!

Took new purchase in for warranty repair. Was told extravagant lies to buy time. 6 days later my wife picked up the x5 after having the power steering pump and lines replaced. She was given this long explanation that they detailed the entire engine compartment and it was a real mess to clean up. ( we haven't even had this purchase a week) Well my wife backs it into our driveway and we find a power steering river again. I guess they didn't change what they said they did and by the photographs they certainly didn't detail anything.

I've purchased two cars from this place now and the experience has been efficient, stress-free and overall fantastic both times. I never thought I'd say that about a car dealership before but I really mean it. I didn't come in for a Mini Cooper. Those cars are stupid. I ended up here the first time because I saw a used car I liked on the Royal dealership website that just happened to be here. So I came in and walked out with a silver Hyundai that I loved. But to truly understand how awesome this place is I have to tell you the story of the second purchase. So strap in, get comfy, check the mirrors (but don't backseat drive!) as I take you on a journey with me. No, we can't stop again, I just stopped so you could pee fifteen minutes ago, just go in that cup, we should've been there an hour ago!Anyhoozle, my silver Hyundai got totaled. (Not my fault.) I can't go without a car at my job and I desperately needed to get my hands on some wheels. In a panic I went back to Mini of Tucson because I didn't have anywhere else to turn and the familiarity was like a warm embrace letting me know that everything was gonna be okay. And it was. I spoke with Sam Rodriguez about needing a car and worrying that it was gonna cost me a fortune. I gave him a few parameters on what I was looking for in terms of miles and my monthly budget. This is when I should mention that the Royal dealership employees don't work on commission. They're on salary. So I wasn't talked into anything I didn't want and didn't get the up-sell on any gaudy luxury vehicle I didn't need. I even asked Sam if I should get a new car and he said that with all the ridiculous fees I'd end up over budget. He talked me OUT OF IT!I was honestly expecting to walk out with some lame buggy that the ladies would laugh at likeI was hanging out the passenger side of my best friend's ride while trying to holla at them but Sam pointed me toward a genuinely nice whip that fit perfectly within my budget. He crunched the numbers and gave me an exact monthly payment amount. I've heard stories from friends who've gone to other dealerships saying their monthly payment amounts change from one minute to the next or they don't get a straight answer. I even got different options. I saw a printout that told me how much my payment would be with no money down, $200 down, $500 down, etc. And that price I agreed to was the exact amount I now pay every month without tricks or BS fees. A couple of friends told me their experiences with lesser dealerships were nowhere near that easy. Car salesmen and women are awful people. They will trick you or pressure you or straight up lie. But not these folks. So when I'm ready to upgrade my ride to something that's not a Mini Cooper because those cars are stupid I know who I'll call.

We were very satisfied with our recent purchase of a used SUV through Mini of Tucson. The purchase itself was handled smoothly and there were no surprises.We must mention Simone, who was our sales agent. She was professional, informative, and personable. She really made our experience stress-free, and we really liked her. She had excellent customer service skills. We would ask to work with her again, should the need arise.We should add that we had the car home for a few days and could not start the car due to battery issues. This dealer honored the 6,000 mile warranty, and even came to our home, picked up the car, and left us a loaner (Simone personally facilitated this!). A brand new battery was quickly installed, at no cost to us.In addition, the dealer provided us with an extra key to the car which was not available on the purchase date. This involved sending out a mobile key service. Simone facilitated that efficiently.We highly recommend this dealer for a used car purchase and give an Honorable Mention to Simone Sesler.

Service department is severely lacking in common courtesy. I have had nothing but issues with my mini that is still under warranty and the service department doesn't seem to care and or want to follow up on anything. They do not call you back, I had to call four times in one day to just get someone on the phone. My husband and I also get service at Lexus here in town, owned by the same company, Royal. what a difference. The girls that work at mini need a severe overhaul in attitude and putting the customer first. I can't wait to get out of this car and into something else.

Sales Manager George K and Salesman Matt R made buying our 2018 Mini Country All4 JCW and pleasant affair. Yesterday we drove to Tucson to pickup the car they found for us. No surprises. Car was exactly as described, fun to drive and paper work was completed in short order. We went to leave for lunch and they presented my wife with a dozen red roses (nice touch). Yesterday was my first visit to Mini of Tucson and they were well stocked in new cars and if for some reason you don't see what you want they will try to locate it for you. I just moved this dealership up on the professional, honest and integrity scale. True test of who I want to do business with. Give them a try if you are in the market for a really fun car!

Was referred to Royal to purchase a vehicle by a family friend. Hands down we had a wonderful experience!! At the Mini of Tucson location we worked with Matt and Antonio. Both gentlemen were beyond helpful and by no mean being a " pushy salesman " . If you are thinking about buying a new or used vehicle go talk to them! And for those who enjoy flowers... I was given 1 dozen beautiful red roses as well!
