Been here since October 2015 in the RV section. The entire complex is clean and well-kept. Staff very friendly, residents very friendly. After looking at several RV parks in the area I chose this one because of it's convenient location, overall Appearance, and cost. They have a beautiful pool area that is well-kept grounds that are well-kept and in my honest opinion the best deal in town for rates.Having grown up in the Tucson area back in the 70s 80s and 90s, I considered it to be in a very safe part of town on the far east side and is very quiet.

My husband and I moved to Tucson Meadows in December of 2015, and in the short time we have lived here we have found the nicest people you could wish for as neighbors. The park is located near almost all your needs. The Tucson public transportation is just outside the gate (I am still trying to figure the bus system out). When we looked at the house we did buy the first thing I said was "Would I be embarrass to bring friends into the park" The answer is no, it is a lovely place. The clubhouse is nice and clean, cheerful, a little dated but still a great place to have friend over for a swim (like you are going to get me in a bathing suit) and meet others in the park. Management is friendly and will work with you. We live here year round and love it.

Poor over all management has resulted in no pool for 5 months (hoping to open sometime in the near future), no usable kitchen for a few months (no upgrades planned for the future anticipated), poor air conditioning in the main meeting room (thermostats read 84 degrees constantly, management says they are working at full capacity, duh?). Before becoming a resident of Tucson Meadows, ask some questions about the above.

We stayed here a month during Feb to March. I have a certified service dog and twice during this month I have taken him for a walk in this park. Each time I was met by people that yelled and scolded me about my dog telling me I was not allowed to walk him in certain areas and that he was suppose to stay in the middle of the road. I tried to explain that he was protected by ADA and could go anywhere I could go but they continued to yell and make me feel uncomfortable. I have spoke to other people that stay in the RV section and they all say they also have problems with the permanent residents. If you come in an RV you are considered the "red headed step child". I will never come back here again because of the attitudes that the residents have towards dogs and the people that live in RV's. I would strongly advise anyone that travel with dogs to stay away from this park. They say they are dog friendly but they really aren't.

Let me start by saying that we did not stay here so this review is not about the amenities or appearance. It is based our experience on checking into the park. We made a reservation a week in advance and drove over 5 hours to get to this Tucson park. I even called to confirm our reservation while we were on the road and everything was all set. Got there (no problem), checked in (very friendly), drove to the holding area to unhook our car and wait for the host to guide us to the site (problem starts). As my husband and daughter are unhooking the car, the camp host looks at my daughter and says "no one under 30 is allowed to stay in the park"! What? We knew it was a 55 and over park and both my husband and I qualify. My daughter is 23, an adult, traveling with us and we've been to many 55 parks and never had this issue. The host called the owner to check with her and she agreed that we could not stay and said many other 55 parks have this policy. Now it was after 5, and other parks in the area were closed, and the Walmart's in Tucson don't allow overnight camping so we drove another 45 minutes into Benson and stayed at the SKP Saguaro Co-op. This turned out to be a blessing because everyone is amazingly friendly and we loved it so much we stayed almost a month. But I wanted to let others know of Tucson Meadow's "policy" (which by the way is not on their website), incase you are also traveling with 55 or younger adults or children.

Seasonal visitor disappointed in this park. Swimming pool shutdown by city due to no permit for renovation , entry gate totally screwed up in reconstruction and now the kitchen closed by city health inspector. This park in dire need of new management or owners.

My husband and I have live here four years last October. Most people that live here are very nice. It is the management that leaves a lot to be desired. The rent has been raised three or four times since we moved here, it is now up to a whopping $548.00 a month for lot rent, for a doublewide. That includes nothing as we pay extra for greeters at the gate, extra for sewer hook-up, and we pay our own water and electric. There have been months when we have paid up to $900.00 with everything (summer season). This park does not enforce weed control rules, fruit lies on the ground and attracts Javelina who come in and absolutely tear up the skirting on your home. The management does nothing to help with any damage the javelina cause.....in fact they do nothing to stop some people from leaving food out for the javelina, rabbits, etc. The park is located right on the Pantano was which is a corridor for wild animals.

Spending our second winter here and loving it. Am so impressed with the number of activities offered each day. It is heartwarming to see so many seniors enjoying each other and the fun things to do...3-4 things every day plus extras every week. This place is clean, safe, well managed and very welcoming. I can understand now why it is so popular. I feel so much at home and while I missed home a lot at first, this place has really grown on me.

We enjoy Tucson Meadows and the wonderful residents. Our only concern is some of the pet owners not obeying the rules of the park. Tucson Meadows was once a "clean" park, that is, NO walking of pets. Management changed the rules deciding to allow residents to walk their pets. Tucson Meadows has very simple pet rules and regulations. One rule is, "Pets must always be on a fixed-length leash not to exceed 6 feet." Another rule is, "Pet owners must make every effort to respect other resident's home sites." Most people violate these rules using 10 to 15 feet extendable leashes and allowing their pets to wander onto resident's site to pee on flowers, plants and palm trees. When talking to most of these pet owners, they become rude and defensive. One such pet owner said that her pet was a "service" dog and was protected by ADA and could go anywhere she could go. Excuse me, but service dog or no service dog, pets should not be allowed to relieve themselves on other people's beautiful flowers and plants. Oh, by the way, we have been long time pet owners and we respect our neighbors.
