What a cool place! I finally made it here yesterday just after sunset. It was a Saturday and the place was busy!I found a quiet spot in the loft, on a couch with my phone plugged in next to me. I was here for an hour to unwind from an afternoon in Tucson running errands. I had two pints of beers I had never tried before. My first pint was a mild wheat ale (5.6% ABV) by 3Yallmeans called White Noise. It had a subtle citrusy aftertaste. My second pint was a Sonoran style amber ale by Wildcat (4,4% ABV) which didn't have much mouth feel. Each pint was $7.50What impressed me about this place is the ambiance. The wooden interior, the modern art, the comfy couch and the many small nooks to sit down with small groups to enjoy a meal is well-thought out. Kids and dogs were on the patios enjoying the mild winter evening. People were bringing food next door from Ciaodown pizza. The parking lot shares the space with two other businesses so I had to park on Farr Street just outside the parking area. After my visit I took my dog down to the Rillito River trail just a half-mile north on Dodge Blvd. This is a nice place for an early evening meal. I will be back!

What a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a tasty brew! I came with a decent sized group so we pulled a couple of tables together out back. Very comfortable environment and there are misters for this blazing AZ heat. The beers are excellent and everyone enjoyed their choices. I really like stouts but needed something lighter since it was so hot so I did the pineapple cream cider and boy did it hit the spot! Light, fruity, delicious and so easy to drink. We ordered several pizzas, some cheesy bread and grilled artichoke hearts - all delicious! We even had a dill pickle pizza that everyone liked but those artichoke hearts, oh my. So delicious and the sauce drizzled over the top is to die for. Please check out Tucson Hop Shop. They serve wine too. :)

I just moved back to Tucson and am getting reacquainted with the all the new places that didn't exist when I moved away, and one of the best little gems in town is the Tucson Hope Shop! It's casual, comfortable, and the people who work there are extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. The ambiance is sort of industrial-meets-neighborhood park with an artsy flair -- its not a brewery but they have around ten zillion beers to try, and it's very comfortable with your choice of tables, both low and high, sofas & coffee tables, Adirondack and other chairs on the patio... and to top it off, it's very dog friendly -- I met three amazing foster dogs while there on Sunday! They're usually in the midst of supporting / promoting community events, non profits, fundraisers, etc., and it's a very community oriented establishment. I should not fail to mention the couple dozen beers that are on tap are ever changing, diverse, and pretty darn yummy... you'll have no trouble finding something you'll like (there are also the other zillion beers that I mentioned in the fridge)...And to top it off, some of the best pizza I've ever had is next door at Ciao Down and they'll be happy to bring it over to you in the Hop House.Great atmosphere, great selection of beers, great pizza from next door, VERY cool people working there, and a great mix of friendly people enjoying the place. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Great hangout spot to grab beers on tap as well as a plethora of canned beer and bottled wine. I promise their wide selection won't disappoint! And they seem to have an ambiance for everyone with an outdoor beer garden area, indoor traditional bar area and an upstairs lounge. And you can enjoy pizza from next door or one of the food trucks that frequent the parking lot. Found this place about a month ago and I've already been back several times. Definitely recommend! Get there early and don't be turned off if the parking lot is full, there's still plenty of place inside.

Great beer joint. Friendly staff, friendly people, excellent tap options, clean bathroom. On a hot Tucson afternoon, we relished our time with a few 10oz pours. We even sat outside in the shade and a mister. Pizza is next door and they deliver to your table. Hop Shop will be on our rotation when we are in town.

This is as close to a neighborhood watering hole as we have in midtown Tucson. Nice peeps, good beer, outdoor seating, and dogs allowed. They even occasionally have live musical entertainment. If that's not enough, the pizza joint next door will deliver to your table.

Tucson Hop Shop is a great spot to grab a drink with a laid-back vibe! The patio is perfect for enjoying the Arizona weather and it's dog-friendly. Their expansion of the shop has increased the indoor and outdoor areas quite a bit. They offer a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, making it a great place for everyone. Their team is really nice and drinks come out quickly but lines can be long at times because this spot is popular. There are usually food trucks on Fridays or you can order pizza from the shop next door all days of the week. Highly recommend!
