This review is for the Tucson Mall location. 4 stars because they had every expansion to Clank! except the one we wanted and I still had to order from the dreaded Amazon beast! But the selection is impressive overall for board game enthusiasts, the tavern in the back is soooo cool, and while $5/person is steep for a family of 5 to play board games, it's not bad if I wanted to meet some friends there and pay for just myself. Whenever I've called on the phone the service is great, sometimes the in-store service is a little lacking at this location, BUT I'd rather be left alone to browse than have people hovering and constantly asking me if they can help me, so it doesn't bug me.That said if you go to the Marana location, they are insanely friendly and helpful there, so if you like the constant "can I help you?" type of service, I'd recommend going to that location.

I was a customer at the original location on Broadway and i loved the selection and the staff. The store went to 2 locations and in probably 3 years I've found nothing to get. I play RPGs and they don't keep up on the cutting edge award winning games i've wanted. Its a very neutral experience. I miss the old store to be honest

Fun, fun, fun! We visited family when we're out in Tucson and they told us about this place. We came here initially for lunch and a few card games. The food is nothing fancy (it's pub food that they bought from some place like costco and heat up in an oven or air fryer) but it's tasty and filling and priced appropriately. They serve mead which my husband and friends really like. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back for Jack Box night. We arrived when the games started and we left when the place closed. That's how much we like the place! The service is good; nothing to rave about but you're greeted with a friendly smile. We will definitely come back the next time we're in that area.

This place is dysfunctional as it gets. When you want to come here for D&D, you are thrust into an ongoing power play, where you are a pawn, not a person. If you like playing in a place where rules are thrust upon you, and you have no say about said rules. A place where when you are late you get punished by being denied to play D&D.A place where the owners rule is law, and any dissent is treated with threats and public humiliation. A place where a DM has the power to banish you from the store you get upset with them. ( And the DM isn't even a store employee)A.place where you are not respected, and your character that you have worked so hard on to create gets killed within the first 5 minutes, because the DM loves to kill players and doesn't care about you.A place where, even after you have paid, you can get booted from a table and you don't get a refund.I have been there, and I have to say, this place isn't worth your clientele, go to any of the other places, and you will have more fun, where you can play characters that you like, and not beholden to any rules, just because the owner has a fetish with Greyhawk.

this place is amazing. it is not just a store but so much more. they sell a lot of board games and card games. there is a bar in the back which sells food and drinks. in addition there are events going on almost every day of the week from trivia to D&D and karaoke. they also have private rooms where you can play board games with some friends. it is 5$ for their stay and play offer. which is where you can play one of their games or events. i participate in the D&D event on Saturday nights and for 5$ i get to have fun from 5-10pm. definetly worth it. the nice part is that you can order food from the bar and they will bring it to your table while you play. i stumbled upon this place while walking around the mall and was a new player to dungeons and dragons. the DM is very nice and accommodating. he helped explain the rules and made me feel welcome. week after week the players start to become friends and it definitely makes for a fun Saturdays night.

Decent selection, but just like their old store on Broadway the customer service is seriously lacking.Like me, they're a bunch of game nerds but they also have a strange misconception that game nerds are better people than anyone else and don't have to be courteous to people that have the misunderstanding that mall stores used to open at 10.You could just be nice. Or be cocky and lose customers for the rest of your life.

My husband and I were on a date and wanted to play some tabletop games so we dropped by Games and Gadgets. It was A Thursday around 8. The store is very nice and has LOTS of games, minis, and other supplies. The tavern in the back is very homey and well-decorated. We would have stayed to play some games but nobody from the store engaged us at all. In fact the only person who talked to me was the girl behind the counter in the tavern when I asked where the bathroom was.

I have been going to Tucson games and gadgets for little over a month and Mike and which ever other employees are helpful and are willing to teach magic. He is extremely helpful and can sometimes a little sartastic also. But it is always done in the spirit of fun. I enjoy Tucson games and gadgetsWhatever they can help you with, they will. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

The manager John at the park place Mall does a phenomenal job and works way to many hours they should give him a nice raise because he has earned it

I brought in a set of cards to get appraised and possibly sell them to this company. However I didn't realize that I was dealing with adult children as employees. I had supplied a starlight rare shooting majestic star dragon card because I wanted to know if it was worth it to get graded. I had given them my collection on Friday (disclaimer they were not organized and they didn't state before hand that they needed to be, I had put all my valuable cards in a tin without documentation clearly won't be doing that again) and didn't receive them or hear anything for 3 days. After finally receiving my cards and hearing back from them they gave me a list of cards that were worth something and it wasn't on the list. In short I won't be visiting this place anymore they clearly are not trustworthy and there employees don't know how to have an adult conversation without throwing a complete temper tantrum like a toddler, instead of coming up with a solution and or helping me into locating the card because I know it was there, so he decided to storm off. If this is how you run a business then I am surprised this company has made it this far. So if you want to either be ripped off or stolen from this is the place for you.
