Terrible business! These people are jerks. They really don't care about satisfying there customers. So disappointed. I agree with the other unsatisfied customer that posted a review. They are over priced. You can get a lot better and for less and not have to put up with business people who don't care. Take the time to spend your money somewhere else...these people don't deserve your hard earned money.Whatever you buy your stuck with it....they won't do a thing if something isn't quit right. I thought I was doing something good by buying local...but I would have gotten better service else where. There really just plan jerks!

I pulled into the parking lot at 10 am, the stated opening time for business, and there was no one there. I went and ran some errands, and came back at 10:21, and the shop was still closed. *shrug*

I had a very good experience with Tucson Futons. The guy there is no pressure, lets you browse and try them out. I went a couple days before New Year's so there were mark down prices on the futons. I got a frame for $99 (which is their lower end price for a frame) and found a nice cushy mattress for around $200. I paid an extra 20 to have the frame already assembled, as i dreaded putting it together myself. They helped load it up and tie it down for the journey home. They seem fair and honest. I may go back for a second futon down the road and see about a custom built frame one day.

Went here after extensive online and store visit searches and comparisons. Great quality, craftsmanship and found the owner Doug and Daniel very approachable with our questions and their willingness to inform us of their work and product lines they carried. Bought a basic constructed double bed-styled futon that was finished in two days and delivered in three. They proudly stand behind their work (10 yr. guarantee) and products and are competitively-priced. We always try to support the local merchant/craftsman over the big-box, indifferent chains!

Terrible service!, good design but terrible craftsmanship, expensively overpriced. The owner/operator is unprofessional and a real jerk, do not make the mistake of purchasing a futon from him, or hiring him to build you a custom futon ...any issues will be ignored if not denied, he wont care and will hang up on you.

Tucson Futons i have to say have been very professional. They helped us find what we where looking for. As a Small business owner he worked to provide exceptional customers service. Kind hearted he wants you to go home with one of the best quality hand crafted wood frames and a varity of different futons (firm to soft). Or if you go in just to ask a question his staff is great. Thank you Tucson futons i love my new bed.

The owner of this shop is completely rude, insulting, and scandalous. I had a futon delivered and was unsatisfied with the purchase (even with the 'top of the line' mattress he recommended it is super uncomfortable). When I called, within 24 hours of delivery, to discuss a return I was RUDELY told that there are no returns accepted and that he thought I had purchased the futon just to use it for the weekend and return it. (No one in their right mind would purchase a $1,700 futon with the intention of having it for 24 hours and returning it!) I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

`We stopped by today at Tucson Futons which is a rather small nondescript building. We met the owner who builds the futons as well as sells the mattresses. He was very helpful in saying everyone is different so sit in each futon to see what you prefer. No pressure here and he was honest and sincere. We liked the organic cotton mattress and appreciated the opportunity to talk and suggestions for getting rid of our old mattress.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Tucson Futons. I made 3 trips to the store, asking all kinds of questions, and each time Daniel and Doug were consistently helpful and courteous. There are many futons, futon mattresses and covers to choose from, and I think the prices are fair. I ultimately chose the futon they construct in their shop. I found it to be well designed and constructed. I love it!! It costs more than the imported futons they carry, but in my opinion it is well worth it. Sturdy, nice looking, and with a 10 year guarantee. The futon mattress I bought there is amazing as well. When Daniel delivered the futon and mattress, the futon wood looked so pretty. Come to find out, Doug and Daniel had shellacked the futon wood for me. This was above and beyond, a happy surprise.Bottom line, I highly recommend Tucson Futon if you're looking for a futon or a futon mattress. Added plus, shopping local rather than from Sam Walton gives me a really good feeling.

I purchased a custom futon from them a couple of years ago. I live in Houston Texas and was desperate for a very sturdy futon. I'm 6' 5" and weigh over 500 lbs . When I talked to the guy he was hesitant to do it for me because he doesn't ship out of state. I told him I'd drive down to pick it up, and he agreed to build it for me. To my surprise the guy offered, if i could wait, to bring it down to me when he would visit his daughter in Fort Worth. I told him " thank you ", but couldn't wait. So he went out of his way to find me a deliverer for $300 something' dollars, which we both agreed was a lot cheaper then the gas I'd spend. Not to mention the long drive. As for the futon itself he has a particular line that he likes to go through. However I'm the one that found the brand to try, and once again he went out of his way to learn a bit about them and asked if they could use better springs (I believe?) considering my weight. Basically he had the guy do something custom for me. It did cost a little extra, but would make the mattress stronger. he only had them do it to the mattress because the ottoman part is for the feet and figured it didn't need to be upgraded. Basically sincere help and nothing I don't need. I believe for the frame I paid around $2500 (just the frame). And extra for the rest of the stuff. Futon, Futon cover, Etc... the futon frame is great! Very solid. If you were to see it today the mattresses are beat, but the frame is outstanding. a little creaking when we rough around on it or butt hop our way off of it, but still solid. Also there are other heavy people (who will remain nameless) that sit and watch movies with me on it. And that's a lot of weight! When it was all over with, I was so happy with everything I told him I'd give him good reviews. He really went out of his way for me. And the frame is quality. However I hadn't gotten around to it and as time surpassed I just didn't do it. So just last week the family was talking about getting a new couch. Cause the one we recently bought from Lazy Boy, which cost 3 times more then the futon, is very weak and flimsy, and is now very uncomfortable to sit on. All of us being impressed with the futon and the service we had received from Tuscan Futons, I went back to the website. I noticed he had a couple of negative reviews. I personally had a very good experience with them, and told him I'd write one. So here it is. Finally! Not to mention I've owned it for a while now, and it still maintains it's appearance and integrity. Tried and true. Thank you.
