Not sure if I will give this place more than 3 stars. It has been 3 weeks and we haven't heard from them regarding our contact lenses. And we are going on a trip in 2 weeks.

This was the fastest eye exam I ever had. Kind of like a "fast-food" version of eye exams. I do not recommend unless you don't have insurance. We are new in town and haven't been around much yet to see where to go. We saw they accept VSP and thought they were in network. They are NOT! Getting an appointment was a P-A-I-N , headache inducing experience and Website doesn't work to make it easier. We ended up calling and first thing they ask is verifying our insurance and that took a while THEN they can make you that appointment. When Insurance was verified and then I was told co-pay was $30, I expected co-pay was $30 ... I left the office with $125 bill. ( We added an extra $30 for some back of eye scan that we normally get from our previous clinic where we pay $30 co-pay and pay actually $30 co-pay PLUS relaxing atmosphere and a bag full of sample goodies) In this office you get handed a box of sample which was also nice in a way but not as fancy like in a real office that we got used too. Again, I paid $125 for this visit and not $30 co-pay so this is where I am comparing. Hopefully our prescriptions are good when we pick them up or it would be a complete waste of money. Staff are nice and helpful but could have been more transparent with the fees and being NOT IN NETWORK WITB VSP especially when they called to verify insurance and tell you the co-pay IN THE FIRST PLACE. Because I felt DECEIVED. But again I should have verified it myself since we are new in town. Clinic felt crowded since it's small like a regular 2car garage size maybe smaller. It seems clean as I've observed but just tight. No privacy by the machine part because lots of people around and feels rushed. I can't say much about the doctor. It was too fast as I said. She got a license to practice and seems to know what she's doing so I respect that. Please note: This review is not for Costco Optical. It is for the Optical Clinic inside Costco which is independent. And if this is the best voted like they claim it is please wish us luck searching for our next eye doctor in Tucson.

Dr. Wu and Dr. Treiber have provided excellent eye care for my entire family. They both take time to understand current situations and provide explanations/guidance.

I was greeted & informed about optional extra $30 test that replaces need to dilate eyes. Took exam & only to find out they didn't perform the extra test even though I checked the box to do so & clearly communicated that to the greeter. This isn't my 1st exam, & During the exam the DR. Wasn't very helpful. Seemed to have an attitude & insensitive. Typically, my previous exam experiences have Been w/doctors that rotate between the 2 vision choices. This doctor would not. The doctor only would if I requested it. Then she would get smart with me. There were only two choices & I would say "the 2nd" & she would try to belittle me by saying "I didn't say #1 or #2, so which one is it?" Really poor customer service. I do not recommend this optician & will not be back.

Had a very positive visit. Staff was courteous and answered my questions patiently. Dr. Wu was efficient and pleasant to work with. He took time to get to know me and make recommendations.Nice practice overall. There was a lot of patient traffic, but it's a good thing that an office is busy. Nothing was rushed or stressed, so this would seem to be normal. Wait times were pretty typical for a medical type office, maybe 10-15 minutes tops. I'd highly recommend coming here!

Best place for eye exams in Tucson. I've been to a lot of other places and Dr. Wu is very attentive. He always takes time to talk to me and address my concerns.

Dr. Wu,I imagine the only reason you took the time to write a response to my review is because others would read it. You could have simply called me to clear up this misunderstanding. So in response to your "statement of facts".Re: the doctors in your practice, I simply asked why your wife was suggesting I see a doctor who was not listed on your business card. Your wife Pearl construed otherwise that I did not want to see someone not listed there. I simply asked a question because most medical practices list their doctors on their cards and it didn't make sense to me why some would be listed and others would not. I never asked for someone with 20 years of experience, I asked for a doctor who would have enough experience to correct the issue with my 2 pairs of progressive glasses being blurry when the eyeglass vendor Costco, said the prescription that was filled was correct for the glasses I received. Once again your wife Pearl put words in my mouth. Your wife offered up Tues. Wed. and Thursday with Dr. Treiber (because she was the only doctor in at that time). I thought it might be better to see an alternative person for a second opinion which I explained. On Friday, the day Pearl wanted me to come in, I already had another doctor's appointment. Your wife said you do not do re-exams on Saturday and on Sunday you are closed. So that's when I called Angelica at the other location. Apparently, Angelica spoke to Pearl and got on the phone with me having an attitude. There seems to be a "communication problem" among your staff including your wife and how they speak to your customers. Again, if you or someone professional called me we could have cleared up this ridiculous situation in minutes. Instead, when I called Pearl back, she decided to throw up her hands and say she was canceling my appointment the following Friday and refunding my money for the eye exam. I told her numerous times NOT TO DO THAT. But Pearl didn't want to deal with anything or anyone who questioned the doctor she suggested (Treiber), at the times she suggested, which did not work for me. She chose to be rude, difficult, and disrespectful. Once again I had no issue with Dr. Treiber so she's not in this equation. Pearl's solution was to pull a power play and cause me an inconvenience. It's as simple as that. A very simple situation became a fiasco for no reason. And you did not care enough to take the time to straighten it out by calling me back, as I requested to Pearl so we could resolve everything. Instead, you chose to write this response. Very bad stuff. Next.

I've been coming to this office for the past 3 years. Never have I received such great vision care. Dr Wu is very thorough and goes over every aspect of your vision, he explains everything in great detail. There is no pressure to do the extra testing but I highly recommend it. I was found to have Lattice degeneration and a small hole in my retina. The office right away helped me with referral and scheduling an appointment with a specialist. All my family has had great experience here as well.

No disrespect to Dr Wu . Great doctor ! The staff is dismissive and expects all this information from you , when you weren't told before hand and also of what use is it when they now have to give you a new prescription .pissed me off and I left . It's a very small space you have a sliding door that you use to get in and you have about 8 people or more in that space , you feel your being rushed to get out , . I don't and won't recommend it to anyone !!!!!

I would like to commend the new Optician at this practice, Dr. Grandi. She joined the practice in June 2018 but this was my first time with her. Her "chairside manner" is much better than her colleague there. I will certainly use her in the future. As for the office, the equipment is new and state of the art, and the prices are competitive, and the staff were cheery as well as punctual.
