Tucson ER & Hospital

This is not an urgent care, it is an ER. If you ever need an actual Emergency Room definitely go here. Hardly any wait time. Staff and amazing and kind. Highly recommended.

Never heard of this place - was DREADING LONG WAITS at ER/Urgent Cares - we pull up, walk in... The security guard noticed me driving around not knowing where to park and told me I could go get my car and park up front. Car was parked in the business area next door... I thanked him and by the time I got my car and parked in 'their' lot, my daughter was already taken in the back. I asked a few questions about insurance & payments. The receptionist was very nice & answered my questions, then let me go in the back with my daughter.The back looks just like a hospital- they have things that hospitals have/ can do, that urgent cares can't.Daughter finished up paper work, they took blood tests, this test, that test and a CTScan. She was in extreme pain & vomiting --no idea why. This was going on and off for a few months.The doctor and nurses were all incredibly nice, caring and concerned. Doctor really didn't find anything unusual- he gave her some pain medication, sent her off with nausea medication & suggested her visiting a GI for more tests.2 days later- (mid-Sunday) we go back. This time, we had about a 20 minute wait to go in the back. Daughter is still in extreme pain and vomiting. We get the same, kind and caring doctor but some of the nurses seemed judgmental... kinda irritated with her, like, nothings wrong with you.They run more tests.... She's still vomiting.Doctor comes back in just stumped. He just can't find anything wrong.Deciding we just need to get her into a GI, we get ready to leave... when the doctor asked her if she vapes.She replied yes.He then said he believed she was suffering from Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome. He gave her some information about it.... We went home. She tossed out her thc vape, was in pain for a few more days.... But has been pain and vomit FREE ever since- it's been 3 months!!We are SO THANKFUL for doctor to even mention this - Growing up in the 70's/80's, never thought it could effect anyone like that, but we've learned it can. I am posting this incase someone else may be having the same issues and don't know what's wrong.I recommend this place - highly & will continue to go to this location.*NOTE: Daughter is 22, I was there for emotional support & to learn a thing or two.

We were referred here by hubby's PCP and they did not disappoint. The inside is very clean, nice and well kept. The receptionist was very friendly and there is even a security guard inside. I drove my hubby so can't say how his visit went. My only gripe is how insanely loud the Tv volume was in the waiting room. I would also strongly advise against putting a news channel on when you don't know who is sitting in your waiting room, including children.

Best ER/Hospital I have ever encountered....the precise staff and Dr. McNulty were absolutely amazing and very organized .... can't say enough good things about this place from start to finish . This is patient care at a different level, just extraordinarily ... keep doing what you guys are doing !

Stopped by earlier today with my mom at the recommendation of a respiratory therapist. I called in to register from one of their parking spaces. I can read and already knew that they don't accept Medicare. My mom has a COBRA plan from her former employer (not a supplement). I explained this to the person who answered the phone. She "didn't think they would be able to accept that because it's secondary." Maybe you could check before turning a patient in need away? OR find out if we are willing to be cash customers? She did neither, and when I said "this is ridiculous," there was no compassion or apology. She hung up on me!Based on this experience, we'll steer clear of this place. We went to Carbon Health down the street and received prompt, professional assistance.

Tucson Er & Hospital. Excellent work here. Usually most hospitals take hours to get you seen so when my mom said she wanted to take me here to get stitches after a freak accident at throwing practice I was slightly hesitant because I'd never been here even though one of my family members work here. Immediately after walking in I felt welcome. At this point nobody knew me or that I was a relative of someone who works there (family member was not working this night). My head injury was wrapped so the only indication of to how bad it was, was my bright pink shirt that was now halfway burgundy because my head bled to the point i was practically drenched in blood. They got me back in 15 minutes tops. Now I wasn't feeling any pain but when it comes to needles I cry and freak out even if I know it won't hurt. So when it was time to get a tetanus shot and lidocaine shot I was visibly upset. The staff was very kind and made sure to comfort me. Then just like that they cleaned my wound and gave me a good amount of stitches and I was out. Whole process took maybe 45 minutes to an hour. Amazing for an er visit! And never once was I nervous , upset, or in pain in terms of that staffs doing! Definitely recommend this place, quick and easy and not many people know of it.

Best ER hospital in town. So clean, efficient, caring, and professional. My wait time was 10 min. They made me feel like they cared about me and even followed up with me several times days later. I highly recommend this ER hospital

Beware the bait and switch. The pricing on line is not part of the ER care. It is only if a doctor recommends you to go there. They take insurance, Medicare, but not much else. Otherwise you are out of network. You will not know how much it costs you until 6+ months later, They have all the ER capability, and you can be seen in a short time, usually less than an hour. But the pricing and information on the website, does not apply to an ER visit. I do not recommend without great insurance for an ER visit. The doctors we saw were great, but not sure worth a $7k plus bill!!!!!

Absolutely amazing, everyone was extremely polite and helpful. The guy in the front desk was very polite and the nurses as well. Dr.Kay though, you can tell the experience he has by the way he treats you and helps you in the most professional and courteous way possible! I came in for an object being stuck in my eye (cornea) and honestly didn't know where to go all the eye clinics were giving me run arounds but he removed it in minutes. Now I'm recovering and felt better before I even left the ER. Thank you everyone keep up the great work you are all AMAZING.
