I have worked with Ernie and Margarita for over 10 years. Complete and total satisfaction, creativity, personal service is extremely satisfying. They have made drapes, Roman shades, shower curtains, recovered dining chairs, sofas, designed and made a beautiful ottoman. Exterior cushions, blinds and the most wonderful gift was taking time to fly to Michigan and install 11 Roman shades for a home we had just built. Many times I have recommended them. Their bedding is just beautiful. Also, Ernie can help design an upholstered headboard or entire bed -any style you might like.

So I'm here to respond to the service provided as a consequence to my past experience at Tucson Drapery. Margarita was unwavering in doing whatever she could to make good for what happened before. She went above and beyond to show me that she was not the business who didn't care but the one that did. They ended up finishing the job and delivering it as promised. I think that we all learned a lot from the experience. Good will can be redeemed. It takes work, skilled diplomacy and customer care !! And my mistake!! I had not paid a deposit as I thought!!

Ernesto and his team did an amazing job reupholstering our dining chairs. They replaced old fabric cushions with a beautiful faux leather. They were very reasonable in price, especially for the quality of craftsmanship. They even picked up and delivered our chairs! Highly recommend.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I started a transaction in June2024, and it never was completed. This company has so unending excuses. They have continuous family drama. Appointments made and not kept. I never ended up seeing my final product. I began the process of requested-refund in November, and I have seen only dribs of partial repayment come in. Now it is the end of Dec2024-no full refund. The owners will drive you crazy and frustrate you immensely.

I had my dining room chairs reupholstered, and several draperies made. The end results were beautiful, and I do not hesitate to recommend them.

Keep your word. Unreliable!Arrived late. I called Margarita at 4:45pm to see where she was. Margarita answered and said the appt is at 5:00pm not 4pm. I said ok, even though that is not the time that I set up with her. Then she asked what's the address which was strange ...because it's 15 minutes from being 5pm. If she did not have the address...how was she coming at 5pm. I gave her the address. At 5:45 , I texted and said, let's just cancel. I was tired of waiting. Left work early to meet her, and this is what I get. ???She text back saying, are you sure you want to cancel, I'm very close. I did not respond. Around 6 o'clock, she knocks on the door. Margarita came in for about 10 -15 minutes , measuring one window for curtain length. Indicates she can hang the curtains on the rods that I already have up, sometime after thanksgiving. She said, don't worry , I will call you tomorrow. You will receive a call from me tomorrow and I'll give you the exact time. Well I haven't heard from her since and there was three days ago.Before she left, I asked Margarita how much do you charge...." Well I'll let you know, I normally charge $35 a window."That was strange too. She originally stated she was going to charge me $25 dollars a curtain per window to hem it; and I will hang them on your rods free. Now she saying if you purchase the right length it's going cost you $35 a window. I guess it doesn't matter. Never heard back from her. What a waste of my time.

I hesitate to write this because we liked them and the draperies and shades that we got were fine however their customer service is very poor. It took many more weeks to get the drapes than they said. They were almost non-communicative. Sometimes did not show up when they said they would. I have written many emails that are never answered. And phone calls that are not answered with no way to leave a message because the mailbox is full. In short, I am now hiring someone else to finish the job (replace a shade that they took to repair and rehang some new shades that fell down almost immediately). I sometimes wonder if they are still in business.

I just moved to Saddlebrooke Preserve. The house I bought is lovely but something just wasn't right. It was the cheap, dingy drapes. I checked through some online sources, but the windows are extremely tall and I couldn't find the weave and color I had in mind. I called Tucson Drapery based on an ad. I intended to get several estimates, but Margarita and Ernie showed up with five or six sample books, were enormously patient, and gave me a very reasonable bid on my selection, which was a very classy open weave linen. They ordered the fabric and Margarita created them in their shop here in Tucson. Yesterday, Ernie installed them - 13 panels. The house is transformed!! They are perfectly crafted, carefully pressed and hung. Everyone who walks into the house is impressed. While he was here, Ernie noticed my sofa was uneven because of a moving incident on one foot. He ordered all new feet and came and installed them for free. I can't recommend these folks enough! Quality, professional, helpful! Nice people, too.

Beautiful work and the BEST customer service! Margarita answers and returns calls and emails promptly and their work is top notch.

We needed 8 dining room chairs reupholstered and found Tucson Drapery after bad customer service with a different upholsterer. I can't say enough about how great our experience was with Tucson Drapery! The owners run the shop and go above and beyond based on our specific needs and taste. Covid delayed one particular fabric we initially wanted but when we made our final choice the chairs were picked up and delivered back to us in under two weeks. And the results are beautiful!!!! 5 stars, highly recommend!
