Tucson Community Acupuncture

I resisted going to Community Acupuncture because I wasn't pleased with my one previous experience getting acupuncture in a group setting. But I really needed a treatment, my regular acupuncturist was ill and unable to see clients, and I decided to try it. I don't love being in a room with up to ten other people while I get a treatment, but the trade-off is the price. It's so affordable. The practitioners are very skilled, and you can get an excellent treatment for a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere. It's a great way to try acupuncture and see if you like it.And yes, you have to wear a mask, even in 2025. Covid is not the only illness to worry about. It's another trade-off. There are worse things that having some confidence a treatment for your health won't make you ill.

I love coming to TCA. I explored acupuncture as a means to manage some ongoing pain & anxiety, and for me, it has been incredibly beneficial. 45-minutes to an hour, just for me to relax in a warm comfy recliner, listen to soothing music, and do something nice for myself - worth it. The needles themselves are small and gentle (most of them I barely feel), and Melissa has been so kind and easy to work with; I feel very comfortable with her. The feeling the treatment provides is different for everyone, I'm sure - but for me, it is equal parts relaxing as it is invigorating. And because TCA is so affordable, I can see me using acupuncture for a while to come. I would highly recommend TCA to friends and family, and I've already got my next appointment on the books. Pro Tip: Online scheduling makes it SO easy to make and rearrange appointments!

I've been here about a dozen times and I love it. I recommend Keith or Larry who seem the most popular. I was able to have a private conversation with them to discuss my personal issues and ask questions about the treatment.It's a community setting so you're most likely to be sitting with many others. Considering you're being poked with lots of needles, it's really very relaxing! The chairs are comfy and the music soothing and most folks fall asleep. I can only afford $15 and am excited I can get the treatments for this price. I did have some pain with a needle that was put in my hand. It hurt for days after. But I told them when I went back and it didn't happen again. I found relief from neck pain, hot flashes, migraines and allergies. The relief is temporary overall. I still suffer from these complaints, but not as often.My elderly mother has joined me and found relief for her arthritis pain. That also was temporary. She ended up having surgery, but she also enjoyed her acupuncture treatments. We both continue to go back to Tucson Community Acupuncture

I really like working with Keith...he appears to be very caring and kindly ask how things are going. I just moved from Seattle and was going to a private insurance acupuncturist for 2 years...rarely did she show the concern that Keith has given in my two month treatment. I really enjoy bringing my own self meditated music or listening to their soft music.Thank you TCA!Jocelyn

This place is great. Have had a chronic shoulder pain for 6 months and a not in my neck for years. Three sessions and my shoulder doesn't hurt. Amazing actually. Neck has more rotation too. I'm sold. Going back for a couple more sessions to try and seal the deal w these issues and I'll bet I'm good for a spell. The bill for one session is less than my co-pay. Take that big Med-Pharma.

This is such a wonderful place of healing. I was already familiar with acupuncture when i visited for the first time. I wasn't sure how i would like having others treated in the same large room, but now find myself appreciating it! The price is right for a drop in session, and I'm able to go as often as i need to. I've worked with Keith, Brent, C, and Melissa, and each has their own style - i like them all! Each has a calming and open energy, they are authentic and want to help you on your path. Highly recommend this place!

Awesome place! Awesome people! My lifetime place! Wish I had known about this sooner. But my journey is for it to happen now! Do it if you can, what a beautiful thing to discover.

Excellent place. Highly recommend. Relaxed and easygoing and not at all money gouging shysters like so many in tbe business, like that Chinese accupunture "doctor" with the little office i went to.

My husband went to TCC, for the first time, and loved it. He recommend my brother (stroke survivor) & i try it. We did and now we go every week. I've been there three times now and I feel great afterwards. It's helped me in so many ways. My brother has health issues and the acupuncture has helped him, as well.
