Tucson Coin and Autograph

We have done many transactions with Brandon and he is very professional but also very friendly. It is a pleasure doing business with this establishment.

I have only good things to say about this place. My sister-in-law was friends with the wife of the owner. We started taking coins and jewelry for trade or cash and found out that the reputation of this place was well known at the bank (of all places!) for being the most honest and highest paying. Last week at the beginning of July 2021, I found out that one of the businessman who worked there now owns the place. Again, the reputation in my opinion is their honest, thorough and pay well for items. I was treated with great respect and will certainly be back.

Horrible customer service. Don't waste your time, super rude & condescending. Went there for some help, left angry & wondering how this place is still in business.

I stopped in on a Saturday around noon to see if they had any gold jewelry or sterling silver scrap flatware for sale. There were two gentleman each with a customer and several other people waiting. I was a little put off because no one greeted me or even made eye contact. I almost left. A third gentleman came out to help customers and a gentleman let him help me first, even though he had been waiting longer.The gentleman quickly got the flatware bound for the refinery and left me to it. It took me 20-30 minutes to go through, and as I worked they easily cleared their waiting customers. I could tell the reason they got backed up was because they give their customers individual undivided attention. When I was done check out was a breeze. Great price, right at scrap. Coin dealers especially can be condescending or standoffish. These guys were pleasant and easy. Thank you!

In all fairness, I put them in the bottom of the "reputable" places you can go to get a fair deal. So yes, they are reputable, but not as well organized, well stocked, or well spoken as Old Pueblo Coin Exchange, Eagle Eye, or Catalina Coin and Stamp.I look for old paper currency, bullion, and autographs. - They very rarely have an assortment of paper currency that interests me, and their prices are higher than the other places. - As for bullion, the two times I've purchased from them, they had to order more bullion. I was only trying to buy 5 ounces of generic silver, not Fort Knox. - I have called looking for some autographs that are abundant on eBay (like Groucho Marx, Judy Garland, etc.) and they never seem to have any of those either, which is funny for a place that has the term "autograph" in it's name.When I call, the people who answer sound uninterested and displeased. Also, their bid-board prices are sky high. Every time I've ever been there, I'm either the only customer or one of two. They do not get the traffic that any of the other places get.So even though they will not screw you like Good Ol' Putz, I do recommend going to other places first.

I sold a gold coin and was very satisfied with the ease of the transaction. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I always visit Tucson Coin and Autograph to buy coins. They have been in business for years they have a great selection and treat you like family. It's hard to find a quality honest and reasonable priced coin shop in the Tucson area. I wouldn't go anywhere else they take the time to answer any questions you have they want you to be satisfied with your purchase and will work hard to earn your trust. I know when I shop there wheather to buy or sell I will get the best prices around . They always take good care of me and they will for you too so check them out I'm confident once you do you'll never go anywhere else for your coin collecting or stamps or other valuable hobby needs .

Went in to see about selling some coins I had and also to buy a specific piece of currency they had listed for sale on their web site. They told me my coins were lousy (they weren't) and they weren't interested then made me wait about 15 minutes while they looked for the currency I was wanting to buy, which they then said they couldn't find. Who treats customers like that? These guys, that who.

Have always been treated courteously and promptly with offers to help me as a beginner to make the most of my collection! Brett is a great Experienced and knowledgeable collector and eager to help! Thumbs up!!!
