In the near future the Tucson Audubon will be renamed Tucson Bird Alliance. It's a great stop to get free info/ education as well as they have a plethora of books/ maps/ merch/ about birding ( and for birding such as binoculars and bird seed) locally and internationally. Staff were nice. Prices were reasonable - and I appreciated having local resources. Street parking.

New to area & birding, contacted the Tucson Audubon Society looking for the Birding Trail Map that I saw On-Line. Made arrangements to go pick up and made appointment (appointments required due to Covid) to check out Nature Shop. First, I was happy to have received friendly responses to my emails (always a plus) and to show up to receive my map which was waiting with a Sticky on it with my name even better. My wife & I enjoyed the Nature Shop so much we walked out with a bag full of merchandise-LOL. The ladies were so friendly and offered a lot of valuable information on birding in the area. We also ended up joining the Society as we were impressed with everyone & the Nature Shop. So glad we made the visit & look forward to enjoying our time in Tucson & Birding.

Southeast Birding Festival has been happening virtually due to the pandemic, but through zoom and fantastic speaker presentations the festival is happening! Since I am new to birding, any and all info is helpful to me. I do wish to return to the outdoors some day in the field with these knowledgeable people so my birding and photography skills improve, plus to attend international birding tours. Great work Tucson Audubon!
