The Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch is just south of Tucson near Sahuarita. With over 4 acres of fenced-in play space, complete with an agility yard and pool, this is a paradise for our dog. Whenever we mention "the Ranch", her ears perk up and when we drop her off, she never looks back. We are confident she will be well cared-for and have a great time.Angela, the heart and soul of the ranch, goes above and beyond in caring for every dog that crosses her path. What truly sets Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch apart is Angela's commitment to cleanliness and comfort. The house and outdoors are impeccably maintained, providing a cozy retreat for the dogs in her care. It's a bit of a drive from our home but close to the airport when we're going out of town and well worth the trip. Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch is a top-notch choice and we highly recommend it.

We have left Stella at the Dog Ranch several times over the past year and she loves it! In fact, she usually doesn't want to leave. Angela loves every dog like it's her own. They get incredible care with daily walks around her property, fun on the agility course and play time in the swimming pool. She sends out photos during the stay so we know how Stella is doing. Honestly can't say enough goodthings about this place. A picture is worth a thousand words so take a look at our doodle Stella, living her best life!

We've been bringing our dog here for the past several years and there'd be no other place we'd ever leave him. We're are completely at ease knowing that he's safe and having a ton of fun with all his new friends. We truly never worry about him and look forward to our daily updates about his day.

My dog stayed at this wonderful boarding location for 8 nights and was grinning from ear to ear every day! Photos were sent often so I was able to enjoy my time away knowing my baby was well cared for. Angela Miller is a very experienced, lovely and conscientious doggie host and has kept up this magical option for boarding dogs where they may walk the ranch freely with her twice a day and sleep in her ranch home on pillows and couches. The dogs also enjoy a set schedule of playtime, pool time and agility training every day. I am very grateful to her for all her hard work in maintaining a very safe environment for all the dogs in her care.

This place is fantastic! Thom is so professional and accommodating. Our Goldendoodle, JJ, just recently stayed with Thom & Connie for 5 nights. The best part of our vacation (besides knowing our JJ was well cared for) was that Thom sends an email nightly with pictures of the days events. I LOVE IT! It gives you such insight into the dogs days. They typically go on a morning hike. Thom & Connie have a couple acres and accompany the dogs as well. Later in the day is the pool time with tennis balls (our dog can never catch) and he also only went in the pool one time, but I bet he was nice and cooled off after that! There is another hike in the evening. Thom set up an obstacle course in the backyard that the dogs love also. Plenty of water in the front and back yards...much needed in the desert! Everything is controlled and the dogs really look like they enjoy themselves as well. Prior to boarding the dog, you must meet Thom and the other dogs. It's a really good idea so Thom can get a good feeling of the dog's temperament. You of course need to show proof of immunization and you need to provide the dog's food (they feed twice a day). At the end of the night, the dogs have free reign of their house. They mostly crash in the living room on couches and various dog beds or the tile floor, which our boy loves. I love that our boy doesn't have to go into a crate when boarding. Some might consider it pricey ($50/night) but the peace of mind we get knowing JJ is in a loving environment is really priceless. They offer discounts for sibling groups of dogs. The only down side is the street Adventure Dog Ranch is on. It's a dirt road for a couple miles and if it were raining like in the Monsoon, I'm not sure how the roads hold up as that's a flood zone I believe. At least a little further down Sahuarita Rd it's a flood zone. I know Thom loves his job and that definitely shows. After getting JJ home, he was wiped out for 2 days!!! We will continue having our beloved boy stay with Thom & Connie as long as we live in Tucson. I HIGHLY recommend Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch.

I cannot say enough about Thom and Adventure Dog Ranch. It's a bit of a drive from Tucson proper out to Sahaurita but if you want your dog to be well cared for and loved while you're away this is the place to go to! Adventure Dog Ranch has completely kennel free boarding, dogs sleep in a dog bed of their choosing anywhere around the house. The Ranch is located on about 2-3 acres and has an agility course, a hiking area, and a pool for the dogs to cool off in. The best part about boarding your dog here is that Thom sends nightly photos of all the day's exploits. Because the dogs interact in more of a pack way the dogs do need to go in for an interview with Thom and the dogs to make sure there are no aggressive behaviors that might endanger any other dogs, which I think is responsible and wonderful. It also gives the owners a chance to look around at the facilities. We went away for Christmas this year and I really wanted to be sure our dog Pepper had a good time over the long holiday. Well looking at the daily photos I knew she did. Thom took great photos of her running full speed during hikes, hanging out by the pool and meeting new friends. I think this is probably the best boarding/doggie day care facility in Tucson and probably Arizona.

We have taken our labradoodles to Adventure Dog Ranch for several years now and won't go anywhere else! I originally chose Thom and Adventure Dog Ranch because they offered cage-free boarding and daily exercise; two critical factors in my decision. What a pleasant surprise to find a home environment, day-long exercise and activity, and a true dog whisperer in Thom. Not only do our doodles love to go play with furry friends, but they never want to leave! One of the best parts are the daily pics of the dogs. I have some wonderful photos of our dogs, and fantastic photos of the various packs. I recommend Thom, Connie and Adventure Dog Ranch to every dog owner I know.

Very passionate and caring. We left our 11 year old Border Collie when we needed to fly to a wedding. Angela babied him and established a personal relationship with him in the few days he visited her.

We adopted our dog, Lina, 1-1/2 years ago and have become EXTREMELY attached to her. So much so that, at times, it felt like we had traded away the possibility for some far away travel for our love for her because we would never leave her in a typical boarding place that keeps dogs in cages overnight and has them pacing around a room during the day.I found Angela and the Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch online by searching for "no kennel boarding." Then we did the Meet and Greet for a full overnight and Lina did beautifully. We even got through our own pain of separation and started to get used to the idea that, with her having such a good time there we could start to think about some travel. We just finished her first stay with Angela for over a week. Angela sent emails and photos that reassured us that Lina was doing great there, having a blast with the other dogs, and cuddling nicely inside during the quiet times.I can't say enough great things about Angela, her property and how well she uses it for the dogs, and her true connection and caring for them. We're so glad we found the ranch; it has changed our lives and plans in a wonderful way.
