Tubac Jack's

Food, beer, and service were all great! They had a good brat and beer lunch special, and the asada tacos were amazing!

Casual, inviting atmosphere. Amazing staff-so welcoming and friendly. We were asked how long we would be staying in Tubac and given some suggestions of things to do,including a bar that had karaoke that night We were told that Tubac Jack's usually has live music, but that night it had gotten canceled.We only had an appetizer-the Nachos for 2. (Way more than plenty) on suggestion from our bartender/server, we added smoked pork. It was amazing! After that, we had no room for an entree. Definitely recommend this place of you are in Tubac. And if you're in Tucson, it's worth taking a drive down there.

While family was visiting for Thanksgiving, we visited Tubac for the first time and had lunch at Tubac Jack's. I thought it was odd that they only had one menu for the six of us, but we made do. Our waitress had a great personality. I liked the atmosphere and thought the food was very good. My son and I shared nachos with pulled pork. The nachos are meant for sharing. The pulled pork was flavorful. I recommend giving Tubac Jack's a try.

If I could give a zero, I would. Unfortunately, the day we were in Tubac I did not have cell service. So, I couldn't pre judge. The beer was good. The sandwiches we ordered were out of this world BAD. I ordered the special brisket thinking specials of the day are typically freshest.The bun was stale, I had one slice of brisket that bordered on being beef jerky it was so tough.My husband had a burger, he thought it was coming out rather simple. Instead it was piled high with huge onions and sauce. Not anything he wanted. The French fries and chips were good. So for just about $60 we had beer, chips and fries. I don't recommend going here,

We had a burger and chicken sandwich. Both were really good. I had chips and my spouse, fries. I liked the fries better than the chips. Our waiteess was excellent. Kept us informed. Food came out a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry, just hungry.

The service was horrible. We went to the hostess station inside, were asked if we wanted inside or outside seating. We said outside, so she said we could sit anywhere. Found a table, ordered and received our beverages. 2 tables were sat nearby and had their food before us. We went inside to ask about our order because the waitress hadn't been back. She said she thought someone else brought out our food and she said she would get it right out and offered us a complimentary appetizer, which we declined, but got 2 beers on the house. A different server brought our food order. The cranberry, walnut, feta salads had no cranberries. We asked the second server about this and she said she'd ask the kitchen for cranberries. She came back with our first server apologizing that there were no cranberries, so they no charge for the salads. We never saw either server again and left after 30 minutes. We left cash on the table to cover the food. So frustrating and it really ruined our day in Tubac.

Sad- was one of my favorite places to go for reliable food and a good atmosphere but it has really gone down hill. The atmosphere is still nice but our waitress was rude. Our presence seemed to be an inconvenience. The food was less impressive. It was edible but that is about the best thing I can say. I really hope we just hit them on an off day but....

Wonderful vibe , great food and staff, can't wait to be back, Friday fish fry, can't wait to try the food, and the bartender Leah was great

Susan and Julie were very welcoming as soon as we walked in. Gave us a great description of how all the food is homemade. Food was delicious and there was constant service! Highly recommend!
