Everything I've had here has been delicious! I've sat inside and outside and both areas are cute and comfy! The menu is well labeled for gluten free! On my most recent visit, I had the gluten free pancakes, which is always an exciting find and they were delicious! I also had the spiked peach lemonade- tasty! We held our December bookclub meeting here and they were super accommodating and we had wonderful, quick service! Thank you for having us!Reservations recommended

This was my second visit to True Food, and unfortunately, it left me a bit disappointed. A small group of us ordered takeout as we were staying just a few minutes away. The process went okay, it seemed like they weren't quite used to handling takeout orders. The food didn't quite hit the mark either .. so maybe dining in would have been a better option ? The ambiance was beautiful. Unfortunately, most of the food we received was either cold or not quite what we expected. The Buffalo salad, for instance, looked more like a grocery store bought salad in terms of size and toppings--definitely not enough chicken for the price. The Bougie Blanco pizza was slightly undercooked and tasted just okay. The burgers we ordered were fine, but someone in the kitchen went a little heavy on the seasoning for the Korean fried chicken sandwich and no slaw in sight. I don't think anyone should be biting into whole peppercorns either. I, myself, ordered the Double Plant Based Burger and it was really good. The star of the show. I loved the jalapeño remoulade and the burger patty themselves were both very flavorful... the bun too OMG ..this is what I had before and it was just as good. I would've loved my side salad to have something more to it besides three cucumbers and romaine. The mustardy type dressing they used was delicious. I should've gotten a different side but I didn't want to pay an extra $1 - $4 on top of the $20 burger. Maybe I'd go back again for a third time ? I'm undecided.

Wanted to try this place out & it was my birthday sooooo Seated immediately and server got us waters while we looked at drink menu.I got the glass of Rose and ordered the simple salad and seared tuna dish. My husband had kale salad and lasagna. Very tasty and I was so impressed with how the presentation of plates were. They have a bar you can sit at so if you happen to just stop in for a drink and maybe appetizers East peasy. Server asked about room for dessert & overheard my husband tell me it's my birthday so she said choose one. We got chocolate mousse with mint and strawberries.Definitely will be back

Location is great, service was friendly and attentive. Food portions are good. I ordered the lavender matcha and the meatloaf with a side of mashed potatoes. I totally recommend the matcha, the meatloaf was a little dry but the veggies were amazing. The mashed potatoes were ok, don't think I will order again.

Grace, our waitress was a true pleasure to work with. She gave suggestions and willing to help us with our special diet restrictions. She check with the chefs to see how things could be adjusted and even told us there was a recipe book she could look up recipes that suited our restrictions. The kitchen adapted to us and was so helpful. The food came out amazing and the taste of all the items ordered were beyond expectation.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I have been wanting to try True Food Kitchen for a while, being a lover of the idea that every ingredient has a purpose and every item on the menu is crafted with health in mind. My friend and I were seated right away. The restaurant has a nice earthy feel to it, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated indoors by th window and the view was great, since the restaurant is located at a higher point in Tucson. Our server was very friendly and gave a great description of the restaurants values and purpose. You could tell that she truly loved the restaurant and also genuinely wanted her guests to experience the food, so they could feel the same way. I ordered the seasonal pizza: Roasted Butternut Squash Pizza and my friend ordered the seasonal salad. We were both impressed upon the first bite. The ingredients on the pizza blended so perfectly, I was always excited for my next bite. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, living up to the idea that true foods bring out the most flavor! I cannot wait to come back again and again to try more menu items. I highly recommend anyone try True Food Kitchen if they get the chance!

Had my birthday lunch here today. The peach mojito was wonderful. Sweet and sour evenly mixed. The pot roast dip sandwich was good but too soggy to pick up. I expected the beef to be shredded for a sandwich but it was in two big chunks. Nothing like the promo video of the sandwich that runs on their website. Tasty but hard to eat. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. It is a lovely restaurant and very comfortable. But, the food wasn't as perfect as in past trips here.

Not as good of an experience as the first time, I'm afraid to say. I was surprised that the sangria drink I ordered was mostly ice and that the salad had some rotten pieces of lettuce in it. I know, spring mixes can be like that. But still, for almost $30, you'd think that would have not been an issue. The salmon was cooked perfectly again, though, and was delicious. The sangria was delicious, but because there was so much ice, I could see the level drop every time I took a sip. I've had sangria in a wine glass with some ice, but not as the main component. The atmosphere was lively and busy. A bit noisy, but I'd say energetic is a better word. Overall, a couple of missteps, but considering previous experiences, I would probably give them another visit.

Pretty good, I went some time ago and forgot to write my review. The service felt pretty rushed and slow but still the server was kind. I understand it was probably the end of someone's shift. The food was expensive but good. You pay for quality ingredients. We had the Thai noodle peanut bowl with egg which I think would have been better with chicken. The happy hour spiced nuts were very good. The butternut squash soup was VERY sweet if that's your thing. Heavy on the brown sugar or maple syrup maybe. Very good but sweet, I like it a little less sweet. I would suggest trying it though when its back in season. The seasonal butternut squash salad was interesting and the horseradish sauce was not my favorite. I really love the concept of True Food. I want to go back and try the sourdough pizza next time. The patio and nice and a good vibe for friends or a casual happy hour lunch. I would recommend going with friends but it's not really a place I would rate as a top Tucson restaurant. It's a chain. It does have lots of options which are good for larger groups or picky eaters. Try it out! I want to give it another shot.

If you're looking for a nice place to eat (Celiac safe) with a fun atmosphere AND shopping look no further than True Food. The service is great and dining alone is no problemo...... they have bar seating with lots of opportunities to chat. Bon appetite
