Travelers Motel

the owners are very kind. Room was clean. sheets were clean. Working kitchenette. I will be back. I stay here every time I visit family in Douglas. prices are very reasonable. cold Air conditioning. The ONLY constructive criticism I have is the shower head was too low for me (6'4" tall) to wash my hair without bending a bit, probably not an issue for most normal height people. 5/5 stars. Good service. friendly employees. safe motel.

Well, I'd love to write a review based on staying here. Fortunately, or unfortunately, that is not the case.When my husband and I arrived and attempted to get two rooms for the night, one for us and one for his father, we were greeted by a locked door and a whiteboard sign telling us to ring the night service bell and/or call a particular phone number for service. After ringing the bell multiple times to no avail, I attempted to call the number on the whiteboard. When a women casually answers, I state that we are trying to check in she responds with, "oh I don't work there no more." Great. My husband calls the number on Google and we can hear the phone ringing away with no one to answer. So we got in our car and left.Probably for the better that we didn't stay there. Especially given the lack of concern/service for their guests, or potential guests.

When I come to Douglas it's for an overnight stay. I literally get to my room in the evening and check out and leave early in the morning. I don't want to spend tons of money for such a quick stay and this place was a bargain for the price. The room was clean and had a/c which worked well. The pool was kept up and to me thats a good sign that the owners take care of their property. The location of this motel is in a residential area and theres a convenience store and local bar close by. I was a lil iffy at first staying there but it was actually pretty quiet overnight. The decor is a bit outdated but they did have a decent tv, microwave and mini fridge in the room. If you need an inexpensive and clean place to stay and are not too picky. I recommend giving it a try.

Very nice for an inexpensive motel. Front desk very nice and the room is clean. We just needed a place to sleep and we did not want to spend allot this time so I would highly recommend if you are not looking for fancy.

If you need good Wi-Fi pick another place. Took forever to even open emails. Room was nice with good AC. Showers could be improved a bit. They have a pool but I never used it. It looked nice though. Restaurant next door is very good.

Great place to stay! Roger was so helpful to tell us where all the good places to eat were in town . The staff that cleaned the rooms were very sweet and did a great job of taking care of the rooms . I have stayed in Douglas before and I wish I had found this place the last time I was here. Flat screen tv was nice sized . The water pressure was great and hot . I just don't think that I have anything negative to say .

A standard motel 6 type of place. Hungry bear restaurant on same property makes this hotel very convenient. Nice owners. Safe. Star rating is based on local curve. WIFI.

I had never stayed here. From now on this is the spot. Friendly staff and the rooms were clean. I'll definitely be staying when I come to Douglas

Fast, friendly check in. Clean room with fridge and microwave. Had a flat tv but hardly any channels though. The restaurant next door is very good.
