Unfortunately this facility (Abrego Grill) serves up some of the worst food in the Valley. They recently introduced a new menu, and 4 of us went to give it a try; big fail. It was awful. The service too was super slow, with a definate attitude and just not good, not even a little. One of us had Shrimp Cocktail, and we're pretty sure the shrimp were frozen in the last century, as well as being super small, mushy and just god awful. One of us had the Orange Chicken, and again, dry, tough, un-chicken like mystery meat, and really lousy. I had Meat Balls and they were so-so, but mostly just typical bar-food junk. We had chips and salsa and that was $3.50 and it was about the worst presentation of both items I've ever had. A handful of cheap out of a retail-home-style bag of super cheap chips and salsa like tomato juice. I'm not trying to be mean or picky, I'm simply stating the honest truth as we experienced it. Really bad everything. Sorry, it was. Also, this facility is super loud and noisy from the roar coming out of the Bar where serious drinking is happening amongst the golfers who go in after their round. It could be a good place but it's not, it's a bad place. Bad service, bad food, bad experience, again - as this was our "lets give it a 2nd chance visit" visit. Not going back.

Staff is very nice. Greens are ok. It's a great course for beginners. However, the mosquitoes in the summer will drive you away. Look at the other reviews. Mosquitos Mosquitoes and more Mosquitoes.

This was my first experience with winter golf in Arizona. Was down visiting family and came here with my son and his grandfather. We had an excellent time playing this course. The greens weren't in the best of shape, but man, they were super fast. Saw a road runner on the course, probably not a big deal, but hey, I'm not from here.I don't have anything to compare this to as this was the only course we played on this trip, but overall, I think it was a fine course and I think I made it all the way losing only one ball, and that's a good day on the course.

When visiting my parents in sunny, Green Valley I am always fortunate enough to spend a couple days going to the local golf courses and playing some rounds at the local joints. That being said I have been to the majority of courses all over Southern Arizona multiple times. Torres Blancas is one of these courses I have played on occasion. As for golf reviews they can be very subjective so if you like to golf and if this course is close go ahead and enjoy it. I for one look for 3 major things for me to really enjoy a course, one the fairway and green conditions: At Torres Blancas they were somewhat spotty at best, for $50 I expect some pretty nice conditions, since the average price around the area is $30-40 on Golf Now. Now I'm not saying the conditions were intolerable, they definitely could use some improvement. (Of the 5 courses I played this week, this was by far the worst.) Next I look at the views: Torres Blancas has some beautiful views of the mountains as seen in my pictures I posted and it has a fairly nice layout for the area of land it has to work with. Lastly, I look at the ease of play: They had 5 different tee boxes, women get a sizable break and there is a starter and ranger keeping the play around 4 hours which is always nice. Overall I give this course a solid 3 stars maybe closer to 3.5. It was fun, but I definitely enjoy other's better. I recommend if you can find a deal go here and enjoy it otherwise take a look around and you may find something better. Plenty of options and plenty of golf to be played!

Could be a very nice course with Great views of Madera and the Santa Rita Mountains, but the course isn't maintained enough. I've played course a couple times now and your pretty much hitting off dirt from the fairways and rocky greens. Usually the cheapest course in Green Valley but has a lot of promise once they get it together.
