Tombstone Grand Hotel

Four nights in a beautiful location overlooking a spectacular valley.Rooms very nice , and we'll kept.After , breakfast supplies were replenished , there was a , very nice display of a complete breakfast . We recommend this hotel to everyone, and while in Tombstone , this Hotel is the place to rest and relax.Thank you.

This hotel is immediately within the Tombstone city limits, so is relatively close to activities there. That's about the only thing going for it.We spent four nights there, during which time our room was never made up, except for clean towels. We had to ask the front desk for a bathmat, since housekeeping removed the one we had the first night and didn't replace it. We also had to ask the front desk for coffee replacements for the in-room coffee maker and retrieve our own cups from the "free breakfast" dining area. The bedding consisted of sheets, a very thin blanket, and what looked like another sheet as a bedspread. No extra blankets were provided in the room in case we got cold, which one night we did. I will say the mattress and pillows were comfortable.As for the free breakfast: On at least two mornings the coffee ran out and guests were left waiting (on Sunday, it took at least an hour) for someone to fill the dispenser; food such as eggs and sausage ran out early and guests also waited for those; on one morning the "orange juice" was a pale yellow color because it had not been properly mixed; and one night staff failed to thaw the frozen batter needed for the waffle iron and guests had to wait for it to thaw the next morning. A complaint about the room not being made up after housekeeping took our $5 tip resulted in an indignant response from the person on duty at the front desk and her thrusting $5 bill back at me in a huff. Finally, the handle on the back door right next to our room was zip-tied so the door wouldn't latch; a sign explained that the lock was not working properly.We will not return to his hotel, nor will we stay at another Wyndham.

Excellent room! Very clean & spacious. Front desk was perfect, especially Terri. Great complimentary breakfast. Our stay could not have been better!

Everything was great. Rooms were clean, staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast was always supplied constantly. I will surely return to this Hotel. I highly recommend it.

Elevator was broken and there was a massive cum stain in the middle of our bed spread. It wasn't like an ambiguous... "wait... is that a cum stain?" No, it was like... 100% someone dumped a load mid bed spread. It was big. Like the diameter of a personal pizza.Things happen... I guess... but the fact that this was missed by the cleaning staff was a bewilderment to us both. It was the very first thing we saw when we walked into the room.Sadly we were on the road all of that day, Tombstone was just a quick pit stop, and we just wanted to go to bed. So we cringed and flipped the comforter off and decided to just ignore it. Last thing we needed was to wait around for 45 minutes while the one and only person working at the desk figured out how to get us a new bed spread.The comical part was that our room had only one painting. But duplicated.Im fairly certain people working here lack an attention for detail.

We walked in like the dead. Tired and upset because booking.com messed up my reservation. Terry at the front desk must have saw how tired mwe were. She showed us compassion and understanding in out obvious state of distress. She was wonderful and very much appreciated. Thank you Terry!!

If you are looking for somewhere close to town this is the place for you. If you want somewhere clean with great service not so much. I would not recommend staying here unless you book directly with them. We booked through Expedia with the pay at the hotel option. They charged the card prior to our arrival and canceled one room in our group who had an issue with their card. They say they called but no one received a call. Luckily there was a room although not the one reserved.

Sadly, I didn't check Yelp reviews before booking this room.We requested rooms near each other "If possible". Our party arrived around 3:05pm. to check in. The front desk advised that our rooms were not ready yet. We were asked to wait in the lobby until they were. This was frustrating because my elderly disabled father really needed to lay down. We waited until 4:15pm, then were approached by the manager who advised sorry for the wait. Apparently, our request was changed to 1st floor next to each other. That wasn't a requirement from us. We were checked in and finally got our keys. Once we arrived in our room we wanted to take our shoes off. However, the front door had a huge water spot that we all stepped in before we knew it was there. I have no idea what it was, but it wasn't nice. The walls are dirty and have cracked paint. On check out day, we requested a one hour late check out because dad was still resting. They BEGRUDGINGLY allowed us the hour after we told them. Apparently, they were concerned about guests that were wanting to check in early. I wish they had the same consideration to all their guests. I'll never stay here again.

I wish I would have checked Yelp before staying at this place. The pool was green. The bed itchy. The room bot. The bathroom dirty. But the worst part is that the staff are rude and disrespectful. This has to be the worst place I've ever stayed.

Hotel room not clean, breakfast subpar, no milk for cereals, waffle machines out of order. Bad odor coming down the hallway. Good luck!
