Used to be a really good store until, it appears, new management took over. Prices have doubled, closed restrooms to customers and not very friendly anymore. Go to restore on grant if you want a good experience, large selection and reasonable prices.

We drove a long way to go to this store. It was closed. I called to find out hours and was left on hold for over 5 min.I hung up and called again and she answered and I asked for their opening hours. She said 8 till 4 and it was 1:30. I said we're we're just at the store but it was closed. She hung up.Won't be back.

I was excited to check out this TUCSON place for usable building supplies. It's a nasty smelling place with prices FAR more than their competitor's in Phoenix. The girl at the register was wonderful, but the management was.. hmm... not. I expect to be treated like a valued customer and that was FAR from what happened. I had the car loaded with donations and after spending an hour in the place (nearly choking the whole time from the smell), I left and made my donation elsewhere.

There are two listings for this place. The other one, "ReStore and Community Closet", gives it five stars. I agree, but I decided to post to this listing because of the negative reviews here.I've been here multiple times in the past few years as I slowly remodeled my home. If I can, I stop by over and over until I find what I want. The prices are so much better than a place like Home Depot, and there's lots of home improvement, furniture, electrical gadgets, appliances... some of it well-used and some basically new. Today I lucked out: a big upright freezer and a dated-looking but otherwise unused electric range for $250 total. No dents, no dirt, friendly staff... what's not to like? Two comments about other reviews. I don't know how a place this big could let staff choose a fair "flexible price"... I'd guess someone who knows all of the stock and how it sells should set firm prices. Unlike the reviewer in 2011, I've never noticed that this place smells bad... and, if someone wants to drive to Phoenix -- say, 250 miles -- to save money, whatever!

Last winter visited this store during my vacation. An employee just glanced at me w/o a greeting or acknowledgement. The same thing happened this year. Later I called to ask If customers are greeted upon entering the store. The person who answered said generally.I will not go again.

Love this store better than Habitat for Humanity. Nice workers. They had everything we needed.

the 'pickup' time-frame is 48 hours. you can't pay a deposit to hold anything. (first come first serve says they) you are NOT allowed, as a paying customer, to use the facilities. .prices are NOT flexible, even though you are leaving an 'equal' donation..girl working there was devoid of ANY personality. something tells me Bonnie N. was paid to give such a 'glowing' review.

We gutted and remodeled a house last summer and this store was great. Got all the tile to do a bathroom surround for $17 as well as many other misc. items. I love looking around to see what bargains I can get. Got a couple cabinets there as well. great prices.
